I would like to watch a Ram's game without having to hold my breath every time our QB takes a snap because I'm wondering if he'll get injured or not. No, to any QB with a history of knee injuries.

My son is a Skins fan and I told him when they made the trade with the Rams that RGIII had a penchant for reckless play in college and that along with his skinny legs was a recipe for disaster. Trying to train him to stay in the pocket would negate what makes him so exciting and at times successful(rookie year only). He's Michael Vick 2.0.

Draft the best O-line players and get a game-manager type QB who limits mistakes/turnovers and that along with our D should get us into the playoffs next season.
Thats Austin Davis man. Coach him up!

@BigRamFan I've heard about him, and I think I've seen a highlight or 2....I'll check him out...Definitely I'll see him if they go to a bowl game...

I'd trade a 7th for him, just so that there's absolutely zero doubt over who "won" the trade, then take his healthy ACL, put it in Sam's knee and we're good to go (I have zero medical training and doubt it actually works like that).

I think RGIII still has a future in the league. Call me crazy, but there is too much talent for him not to get another shot. Doubt it will be with the Rams though, and I prefer Bradford to him anyway.

We don't need RGMe or Winston. Go with this guy in the 3rd round instead. Similar career numbers to Winston but without the "issues". Big, 6'2", 220#, athletic (better runner than Winston when forced to run) and he's done this without anywhere near the surrounding talent.

Who is that guy btw?

For RG3 to be successful, he needs to study up on Russel Wilson's game. Both of these guys have the same skillset. The only difference is Wilson is humble, and RG3 is a headcase.

Some designed runs like they've made up for Wilson (naked boots and misdirection reads) would be perfect for RG3. The other problem is RG3 has no idea how to slide or get down to avoid a hit.

First post, doesn't come back to comment.
:jerkoff:

We already have a qb with injury issues (as almost everyone has pointed out).

Thanks for dropping the fuel on the fire and walking away though, that's always fun:fighting:

As a Rams fan it's a little embarrassing having multiple RG3SPN threads on the front page.
Come on people....

No way, he's too flawed. Bad knee(s), bad attitude, bad vision and mechanics.

With the exception of attitude and perhaps mechanic's, what's the difference between them? Two Heisman's, two knee damaged chuckers, two storied college players, two under achievers. This next comment is not directed towards you, but the subject at hand....at what point does "wishes, hopes and caviar dreams" morph into ", "acceptance and re-direction" OR is this the new definition of insanity?

Not running away just busy

I believe RG3 does still have a lot of talent and if we can try him out for a late round pick then I just had the question of why not. He was a franchise QB just a couple weeks ago

I'm not comparing SB and RG3. I said nothing about SB, I just don't want (as does pretty much any sane person) RG3 on this team.

If RG3 was the same QB he was before the injury, Shannahan would still be the starter.

OK wait........other people are telling me that Davis is too small and has a weak arm and can't see over the line because he is too short.........but is that exact same size.

Why you confuse? Why you do that?

Why is everybodys trash our treasure?
Have you never watched Antiques Roadshow? Sometimes it happens. Not saying I'd trade for him. Just saying. This is the time for Snead to make his career (he's been really good at drafting quality players, other than QB). Hope he has topnotch QB scouts. Find a gem somewhere (arena league, CFL, FA, draft) that the Rams can win with in case Bradford leaves or can't answer the bell. If he can't and Bradford isn't the answer next year then his and Fisher's jobs may be on the line.
