It's obvious our pass protection has been better than run blocking. When it comes to the run game, coaches need to become more creative getting the numbers reduced in the box. I really think they need to have more run/pass combo plays called and run the play where we have the advantage. If not, allow Keenum to audible more. As it's been said... if they don't respect our passing game teams will continue loading the box daring us to throw. We need to be a bit more unpredictable in our play calling. That and the O-Line needs to start busting teams in the Chops!

I'm not gonna act like I got all the answers but there's enough blame to go around...that includes Gurley.

I'm no expert but what I saw was a Rams win, and I liked it. ;)

The only way 73 is a "bust" is correlating his substandard level of play to his lofty draft position (oh wait)

Too bad for us but it's going to be back to the ole drawing board regarding LT pretty quick...a blind man can see this by now I would think

Maybe they can get something out of him moving him inside, who knows at this point

I swear to god next time they draft raw upside...in the first two rounds... I'm going to go off

I agree Robinson is a compete bust there are a number of reasons why.
When he does make a block it seems like the defensive lineman is waiting for a screen or looking for the run and getting ready to disengaged and tackle the RB.
WTF is with him running down field while the rest of the line is trying to block and the guy he should have blocked is either running after the QB or making tackles. He misses blocks all the time. I then replay the down and it is usually his guy making the tackle.
The worst part is he looks completely lost out there like he has no clue what is going on. The 35.4 PFF grade is more then justified.
I read an article in the LA Times and the writer was talking about poor OL draft picks from Snisher.
I feel bad for Gurley. He can't even get to the line of scrimmage without being hit.

Keenum was barely pressured against Seattle and Tampa Bay. Even against Arizona, Greg had a few plays where Chandler Jones got the better of him, but Keenum had solid protection overall and a lot of plays where he had ample time.

He's giving up penalties because the refs give him no BOTD. It's like Ogletree getting a personal foul every time he breathes on a QB.
OMG it's not even a comparison how Ogletree looks at the opposing QB and is given a personal foul! It's f'n ridiculous! I screamed at my TV for 10 f'n minutes after the last one! I can rant one this for 12 years...

Anyways, I don't know about Robinson, that dude is below par in everything, pass and run blocking. I actually thought he was better the last several years as a run blocker than pass blocking but this year it seems he's getting beat like a drum and for a #2 overall pick that's donskies. I really think in a phone booth which is a guard position he might be able to dominate with his size. Just seems like the guy really hasn't developed much from what they hoped he would be, not even close.

Yeah, that number stuck out like a cockroach on a white wedding cake. I'd really like to know how they classify a pressure (and whether they consider a QB hanging onto the ball for too long as negating a pressure). If he had really given up that many, everybody would have noticed and nobody would be defending his play.

As far as his "bonehead" penalties against the Cards this past Sunday, the holding call was very marginal - and the kind that higher rated OT's get away with all the time against the Rams (especially against Quinn). On the ineligible downfield penalty, it was a broken play, and if I recall correctly, he wasn't the only guy downfield, he was just the one that got called. Hardly unforgivable the way that play went down though.

The worst play was allowing Chandler Jones to get in and cause the fumble, but Chandler Jones is a very good DE whom will get those plays sometimes against even the best OT's.

GRob still has plenty of room to improve, but I'm not buying that he's the liability some are saying. He's just the latest whipping boy.
I wish I could like this a 100 times! I totally agree with you.

I just haven't seen that in pass pro this year. He's been solid imo. I think he's improving. The run blocking? Yeah. It's hard to understand how he's seemingly regressed. I've seen him whiff on too many blocks this year.
