With Hampton cut, who's behind Josiah Stewart on the depth chart at OLB now?

I thought DesJuan Johnson was more of a DE.
If you have a chance to re-watch Sunday's game, Johnson played a lot; and, almost entirely, at Edge.

He was a down lineman the prior two years but was used quite a bit at Edge in the pre-season.

Pretty sure the Rams read the recent rants of @Allen2McVay on Hampton and complied.

Can confirm. PFF has detailed listings of where players have taken every snap. DJ has taken every snap this year at right or left OLB just like Hampton has.

Also can just watch the game. It's clear where Johnson lined-up and how he was used on Sunday ... at Edge.

I noticed one play (in the 1st half) where he was in a down, D-Line position. Really just right there to see.

What they do going forward ... Who knows? They have an experienced Edge on the Practice Squad in Luketa. Highly doubt they only have three Edge players (Verse, Young and Stewart) active on game-day.

Not really surprised, Hampton was kinda whack. He had ample time to prove himself and hasn't done anything. Good luck to him though.
He's not going to crack the top 3 nobody who replaces Hampton will and I'm not really worried about it. The only surprise to me was his ST time and he was good there. That's important to the team hope they can replace him there.

Karty 's transaction said waived, no recall and he's on the practice squad.
Yeah the no recall is just the designation for a player that isn't vested. You become vested after completing 4 years in the NFL has nothing to do with the PS as you point out.

Some here thought it would be Limmer that got waived. (might still happen). Guy has been in the doghouse all season

I wonder if he’s in the dog house or is just not been showing well in practice. Either way, I hope not to find out because our line is playing well and probably the only way he sees the field is due to injuries.

Wasn't aware of that. Isn't he our backup C?
Justin Dedich can also play center.

Played mostly center in college at USC.

Limmer has only been active three games this year; whereas Dedich has been active for 12 games.
On Sunday, when the Rams emptied the bench for most of the fourth quarter, Dedich went-in at center, with Humphries at LT and Quessenberry at RG.

If you have a chance to re-watch Sunday's game,

With a guilt-inducing tone: Oh, so now it's not enough for a fan to watch the game just once, you're assigning homework now?

:D

Just kidding, glad for the heads-up. Didn't realize they had a position switch for Johnson.

I can totally get that part but my guess is the Rams probably feel better about replacing that part plus adding better depth to the defense.
