Jake butt round 4
That would be a great pick IMO, that plus an impact round 1 type talent at our round 2 pick to kick things off (CB, DE, LB, WR whichever is highest on board). Then I pray a Center in round 3 or 5.
Jake butt round 4
Kee in mind their 3rd TE had 2 receptions but Chris Thompson had more receptions than TE #2 Vernon Davis. They probably ran out of that formation a lot. Three TE a fb and an RB isn't unheard of.For a team that threw well over 600 passes and probably 60% to WR, I would doubt that...
I'm gonna go out on a limb and say the only time a WR wasn't on the field was short yardage, goal line or victory formation.Kee in mind their 3rd TE had 2 receptions but Chris Thompson had more receptions than TE #2 Vernon Davis. Just for reference that 184 might seem like a big number but in that 2 years they ran 2020 plays. That's 9% of plays and an average of 5.75 times a game. Two 3rd or 4th and one and a 1st and goal at the 1 and you can easily have 5 plays with 3 TE and 2 RB. Just as easily as you can imagine a passing offense putting a 3rd TE with 2 catches on the year over a RB with 50 catches or a 3rd WR with 56 receptions.I'm gonna go out on a limb and say the only time a WR wasn't on the field was short yardage, goal line or victory formation.
I'd go rookie as well, if anything. We currently have Higbeast, Hemingway and Harkey. I like that potential.

I like Jake Butt or Jeremy Sprinkle of Arkansas.

Lets get em both our te tandem could be butt sprinkles
No doubt the Rams TE unit needs some more pieces when you look at the whole unit and their 2016 statistics. We all know that Hig & Tam were rookies and that stats don't tell the future but............
Something doesn't quite feel right when you look at the current tight ends on the 2017 roster?
Tight Ends 2016 Stats

Cory Harkey

Evan Engram move TE Ole Miss, use like Jordan Reed...but better. Go look at his film! Hope he is there at 37!With our new HC keen on utilizing the TE, I wonder if we should pursue Luke Wilson to go along with Higbee. One less position of need in draft and he's a great locker room guy and very productive.
Thoughts?

Dude wth is wrong with you? Luke Wilson? I don't think Owen Wilsons' brother is going to help us much at TE...
And finally...finish where we started.....probably see him against the #1 overall pickHaven't seen him. I'll have to look into his profile
