Exactly. Trip or no trip, the db wasn't catching back up to tutu. Tutu had already done the damage at the line.

.
Yea i just got the chance to rewatch and its clear from two different angles that Tutu broke the DB's ankles.

The DB was trying to adjust to a hard change of direction. Adams was cutting inside, and the safety had to respect that.

So back to my original point. Great call by Mcvay on a play design that had a WR wide open.

Great execution by Tutu, Stafford and the Oline.

There was an element of surprise here. It was a longer developing route at your 12 yard line and throwing to the guy not named Puka or Adams.

Heart of a champion to come back after that loss in Philly and then after that fumble.

Anyone else thinking Tutu just go out at the 1??? I know thats the wrong play but it was in the back of my mind....TRUST OUR D!

Great win!

Great Sunday, with Kershaws Last regular season start.

What a week we got on tap.....

So I get up this morning and all three sports channels espn 1 espn2 and the NFL network and they are all talking about the Cowgirls game. What is this love affair these people have with the cowboys.

I Need to find a better replay angle but I am willing to bet the defender tripped trying to adjust to the WR.

Thats usually how world class athlete's trip. Break yo ankle type of thing.
This is exactly what happened. Tutus speed did not allow the db to get his feet set before he turned. He played an inside route and Tutu broke outside. Thats what game breaking speed does. Rams NEED to utilize him way more. All he does is make plays. When he’s not catching balls, he’s drawing flags. It’s asinine that we don’t use him. Is it because he’s not a good run blocker? Do you need to block when you have a DB 18 yards down the field before he realizes it’s a run?

Im just going to take a moment to appreciate how much Agent0 has been all over the place this season! NFL SACKS LEADER with Burns!

Absolute stud. Our front is legit

Great to get a win and see if we can beat the 9ers on a short week, however I hope we didn't use all our luck up on the Colts. I mean sheesh, the colts left a lot of points on the board.

I heard a fun fact that Tutu's 88 yard TD was the longest game winning TD in the 21st century.

Stafford just plays different when the team gets behind. It like flipping a switch. The offense screwed around (sucked) for the entire 3rd quarter then they get behind and Stafford emerges from his coma to bring them back again. I think Stafford secretly wants to stall the offense until the team is behind in the 4th so he can break the record for comebacks and winning 4th quarter drives (NOT).

  • Holding both Barkley and Taylor to less than 100 yard rushing is awesome, next up McCaffrey.
  • Take the QB sneak out of the playbook...... Please!!!!! Williams is an EXCELLENT Short yardage back. I just don't get it.
  • Tutu's PI was a key play too.
  • That 4th &2 TD was HUGE
  • FG's looked normal again - Held my breath on the first one.
  • Except for the two TD's that were nullified the Defense was tackling really well today. They shut down a lot of YAK.

Your QB sneak comment hit me hard.. so true.
In fact, I think they should be changing up the personnel on that play.. I'd much rather see Puka or Whittington taking that snap. Maybe I'm crazy.. I just don't think Stafford is good at it and I don't want his 37 year old body anywhere near that nonsense.

It was a bad play-call IMO. Stafford is not good at the sneak, he is 37 and has had back issues this season. My brother and I were echoing the same thought, stop with the QB sneak. In McSnead I trust, but enough is enough.

Once Atwell caught that you knew he was gone.

That alone is worth the contract and his game breaking ability.
I just wish we could see him targeted more often so we will have a chance to see that.
But the rest of the NFL know that they not only have Puka Nakua and Devante Adams worry about but look at this water bug go!
Imagine how that could open up the run game AND the play action game.
