Am I mis-remembering something? I was young, but I remember Archuleta playing well ish. I was mostly all about him tackling the hell out of people, but I didn't know he sucked enough to be mentioned multiple times here.
he was a solid player ...a classic in the box SS .. i think he could have gone on to great things but had a back injury that robbed him of his best years..skins made him the highest paid Safety in the game retired not long after

would have been great in the mark barron role in GW's defense

I was dead wrong about Robert Woods. Thought he'd be another ineffective Band-Aid at WR. I was also incorrect about Barrett Jones. I thought we'd gotten away with a real steal with that guy. Shows you why I'm not employed by and NFL front office.

Where should I start?

Robert Thomas...sticks out in my mind....dude was a stud MLB at UCLA.....

Gaston Green....really liked that UCLA team....

Ron Brown....olympic sprinter...

Never like Jason Smith...but figured he'd be ok....o_O

oh my, the never liked list is long.....until proven wrong with a SB...appearance, not a win....my never liked list remains pretty much correct.:hiding:

Marry Gilyard, another in a long list of fast guys that weren’t good at football. So many players each year get drafted because they’re fast and go on to disappoint.

2009 Draft I wanted Aaron Curry for LB. We took Jason Smith. I was hellbent on him failing. Wasn't worthy of 2nd overall. I was right about Smith wrong about Curry. Then I wanted Mulaga over Laurinaitus. Wrong again.

I liked the Woods signing BUT ... I saw him as more of just a merely solid possession receiver. He played much, much better than that, and his contract now looks like an absolute steal for the Rams.

Mardy Gilyard is someone I was rooting for with his backstory and being a genuinely good guy. Alas, it wasn't meant to be.

Yep Tavon was a guy I felt would be a star in this league. I was also, apparently, wrong about Barron not being a fit in this defense.

Todd Gurley. Was pissed Fisher drafted him, bc Fisher drafted a rb or two every damn draft. And i was a huge fan of Zac Stacy.

Speaking of Stacy, didn't understand that pick. He had no 3rd gear and looked mediocre in college. Dude ended up being a tank before being put in the dog house for no reason.

Marty Gilyard. Watched a few games of his in Cinncy and he looked like he had a lot of potential. Never panned out.

Barrett Jones, no explanation needed.

Robert Quinn.
I thought he had a classier attitude than that.

I liked Stacy. Not sure what happened. Seemed like a good back.

Yeah I forgot about Pead.
I thought he was going to be something special.

I remember being on other boards and getting into heated arguments about Chris Long vs Vernon Gholston, I wanted Long and me and this other guy would go at it as he thought Gholston was the next great player...
