If SF wins they are lowest seed and play Seattle. and we go to Chicago
If Philly wins, we are lowest seed and play Seattle

I believe that is the way it plays out now

Puka did react like the ball got there faster than he expected it.
Watching the replay several times the ball was about 20-25 feet away when Puka turned his head.

Don't know why that was all sequenced that way but not much of a chance to catch something going 50 mph that close.

Most receivers wouldn't even have a chance at the that catch. Puka at least made it look like a drop.

Yes good point on the Rams having played everyone else.

I will note that I don't think Caleb is fully arrived yet either as an NFL QB. Where he is right now is that stage where he's earning a reputation as a strong closer. He looks like a gunslinger type, streaky and strong finishes, and that can be terrifying for opponents in the playoffs. Look at Stafford. Those gunslingers die horrible playoff deaths at times, but they also make magic.

It's a problem. No doubt. Also what has been a problem is the drops, there were a lot of them yesterday. So his final line for the day could have been much better had he toned that arm down a bit and just put the fuckin ball where it needs to be.

Again that throw to Puka looked like it came out of a hunting rifle. Puka eats the drop, but it was really Stafford's fault at least in part for putting too much on it. That said it wasn't Puka's only drop. Both him and Adams need to improve on that count.

If we move forward with Stafford at QB (which seems likely but there have already been cracks on the compensation side) it makes a lot of sense to draft a big weapon wideout for outside that hash. Because one thing about Stafford is when you give him an elite target he knows how to feed him.
My preference right now would be Denzel Boston out of Washington.

I haven't really looked at the wideouts yet, but if it's a big ass pass game threat Stafford can feed late in games I'll take it.

Can you imagine how unstoppable this group would be if they can find an X in this draft. Then on top of that Ferg develops. Just maybe.

As far as the deep pass that puka dropped. Stafford i think was compinsating for the wind. Firing a lazer to insure it being on target. It must have been disrupting his passes. I have never seen him miss so much.

This is the NFL playoffs guys.
It's win or go home and the Rams won a very difficult playoff game against a team that matched up with us very well. It came down to a touchdown to parkinson with 30 seconds left on the clock. What more could you want?? Stafford had a little over 2 minutes on the clock in the fourth quarter to get the TD to win it. The outcome was never in doubt.
This team had serious issues this year and some of those were painfully obvious in this game, but weren't the Panthers supposed to have a better secondary? Looks like the scoreboard says otherwise.
Enjoy this win. Do not take it for granted that we get to the playoffs and have so much success year in and year out. Last year we were just a couple of false starts from the Super Bowl. Assuming we beat the commodes LOL but this is a great organization to be a fan of.
GO RAMS

X-Rays were negative.

Hell of a fun time at the game. Thankfully didn’t get shot or anything. Gonna take my chances again in Chicago next week.
