I like us beating them by 7-10 points. We have to stop listening to the hype.
The hype for the Hawks this week has been relentless. Somehow the media thinks the Hawks are the greatest team in this century.

It's like they completely ignore the Rams have kicked the crap out of the Hawks this season in both games, and only sheer luck and desperation kept the Hawks in it till the end.

I really want a win Sunday, more than any other game for years now.

The defense we'll see. I am hoping they are back to how they played earlier this season now that Lake's healthy. There is reason to think that is the case. The Seahawks need to exorcise their Rams demons the way the Rams did the Shitters in '21. But if the defense can dominate up front and force Darnold into mistakes we're very much in this thing.
I saw that game replayed on NFL Network about 2:00 in the morning. That was a great Ram comeback win!!! Watching the close of that game when AD had Jimmy G like a rag doll and he flipped the ball high, which got intercepted, and the Rams ran out the clock. JUST SPLENDID!!!

AD ended that NFC Championship and the SB with sacks...HE WAS NOT TO BE DENIED!!! :sunglasses:

I look for the Rams to come out firing on all cylinders and not take their foot off the gas; unlike they did in the last game against the Hawks. Also, on defense focus on stopping Walker and keep Darnold under duress the entire game. Lastly do not give up anything in the return game.

I suspect Darnold will choke in some big moments if they put the ball in his hands. I'm expecting some personal foul penalties against the hawks for taking some cheap shots on our Receivers. I think they will lose their composure and that will give us the advantage.

Hawks have better RB1 (slightly)
dog face.webp

The media can't get past that 41-6 beatdown of the 49ers. A Mash unit defense held them to a total of 281 yards. Only one scoring drive was over 50 yards. The 49ers were used smoke and mirrors to get past the first round. They had no chance in the second round no matter who they played.

If our special teams doesn't give them points I see us getting out of Seattle with a win. We just can't hand them any freak plays like last time. Seattle's best shot is the refs. If they don't take it away from us we'll be playing in McVay's 3rd Superbowl.

Ice is the devil as well, it builds on the power lines and can take them down. Had to stock up on gasoline for the generator just in case. :laugh2:
We had a major "once in a century" ice storm where I am in late March. Tree tops snapped off and no power for 4 days. I had no generator at the time. When the power went out I managed to watch the hockey game on my tablet for awhile using my LTE cell connection (and felt smug about it). But then the cell tower went down too (sigh). 4 days with no power or cell reception. Now I have a generator and two full cans of gas.

It was about -20F last night but no power problems. Mini-split heat pump shut down due to the temperature. 8 inches of snow yesterday, sunny today, and only about 3 inches predicted for game day. As long as the cell tower stays up I am covered!

When Hurricane Sandy hit NJ and Eastern PA, we were without power for about 5 days. I had a generator and half the neighborhood came over for coffee, etc.. I had plenty of gas but it still got tired after a couple of days. Gave it to my daughter when we flew the coop South. They didn't start or maintain it, despite being told to, and now, today she's out looking for a generator.

Rams team is forged in playoff fire, or ice. Two road wins, one in frigid conditions have prepared the Team for the challenge Sunday. Hawks had a friendly game at home against a depleted team. Rams are coming to collect souls. I expect a very quiet crowd as the reality starts to set in.

I sure hope you are right but those 'two road wins' were about as close and contested as NFL games can be.
