I was 13 years old in 1999, but my dad has been a fan since the 60s, and while I am sure he would say winning the Super Bowl was better, I don't recall seeing as much as pure joy after a win on his face as I did after this game, Super Bowls included
 
Talked before on this site and the old one about how this was the greatest game atmosphere I have been in for a live game. Sat behind endzone where Bruce caught his 3 TDs. Lost my voice for days after this game. The Landing in the Lou was an absolute party that afternoon/evening. Definitely a day I wish I could relive. I took pictures that day too and I don't know where those ended up at. Will have to see if I can dig those up sometime.

I couldn’t get game tickets… me and about 10 others were outside the Trans World Dome in a tailgate parking lot. We had a TV in the back of a covered pickup bed. Watched the whole game from the parking lot.

I will never forget the atmosphere as fans left the dome at the end. We were liquored up from tailgating all game and tossed footballs to fans leaving whooping it up playing catch with other fans like that.

You knew after that game we were good and it was a matter of figuring out how good we could be.
