Totally agree that 2027 Capital WILL be spent on Wide Receiver acquisition either before, or IN season.

Also as a quasi "make-up" to Stafford for spending 1st Rounder on future instead of current.

I would not be surprised if AJ Brown is in LA June 2nd. I know he’s linked to the Pats a ton, but it still would not surprise me. He seems to fit like a Ram receiver

Nobody will give the Eagles a first round pick in the 2027 draft. So they'll probably end up dealing him for a two. And from that perspective it's hard to imagine the Rams getting him, or any bottom round type team for that matter.

On top of that why would the Eagles give McVay a legit X option for his offense. They've got a good chance to run into us in the playoffs.

That would flat out be absolutely awesome. I would start measuring for ring sizes.

Sadly, I fully agree with this. Our offer would have to not only beat, but thump New England's. And then, it might not be worth it to us. Philly knows they have to go through us to get where they want to go.

I agree. I don't see Philly dealing him in-confernece.

What do think Xavier Smith is if he is not a burner? He is only a tick slower than Tutu, and, to most NFL players, the difference in speed is negligible during games. Furthermore, as a returner, Xavier is more comfortable than Tutu at absorbing & avoiding hits, so he is capable of being a greater down field threat in some respects.

One thing X showed last year was that he had a way more expansive route tree than Tutu...which is why he saw more snaps at WR this past season than Tutu...

X will have some competition this season, but he's been a net positive for us.
