How about let's not go down this thinly veiled line of thinking? I think it's pretty clear whenever you "criticize" somebody as a public figure based on their race, religion, ethnicity, etc there's going to be a backlash in some corner of the internet.

At the end of the day Puka clearly didn't mean to do anything offensive. He was being goaded into doing something offensive by a talentless piece of shit who knew exactly what he was doing because that's the only way he knows how to stay relevant.

Puka needs to not be gullible and stay away from people like this, I hope McVay can get the message across.
This. I blame the company he keeps on this one. Not always okay to go shmoozing around those types especially while the camera is on. But hopefully he'll learn. He's goofing with them because that's his personality. I didn't know the meaning of that gesture either but it looks silly like something you do to make your friends laugh.

It took me about a decade in corporate life to realize nothing is loathed more than honesty.
Some of us learn slower than others.
I agree, you have to learn on how to convince the people above you that your idea was their idea and thus it gets done. Puka's brother was just arrested so I hope he is not involved in this too.

Not in my line of work, my direct report is a President so I don't have worry about that kind of stuff.

He doesn't try to be an Engineer and I don't pretend to try and know his job. .... Really simple.

I just watched the 30 second video of Puka talking to the 2 social media guys. Other than trusting these clowns not to post their private conversation it’s a non-issue. It’s bro talk about a common topic that’s been front and center for years. NFL refs are correct 95% of the time but the NFL needs to pay the refs more and make them full time employees. Make their control of the game and their calls more consistent.

I really hope that Puka humbly addresses this, asap, today.
But... what a great opportunity for the NFL to step up & publicly commit to better officiating. Too many social posts out there showing blatant missed calls & accusations of game-fixing. Now one of their biggest stars in the biggest NFL market calls them out... they need to address their officiating & restore confidence in game integrity.

Puka is young and will learn about these social things like the rest of us had to, but one thing is unquestionable he is a kick ass NFL receiver and a good teammate.

I don't want to have to lock this thread but enough of the fucking politics! If you feel the need to post some blatant or thinly veiled political statement, go to some other site to do it.
Is there a way for us Rams discussions fans to delete this stupid, distracting Puka thread ?
Axing for a friend .......

I could delete it but I generally don't do that. I'll lock it for now and if another moderator wants to open it and watch it, that will be their decision.
