Sean likes them Thic. No wonder Mevis is on the roster. Want to see mrs, or, it's 2025, mr Mevis. Reeder looks like he was cast from a beach blanket bingo movie. Annette's knobs were amazing.

Decent cap savings by parting ways with DWill, Shelton and Evans. I want as much FA action as possible. And go ahead and extend Nacua, Turner and Verse.

Ah, now we’re getting somewhere. Are you one of many posters here (myself included) who regularly pound the table for the Rams to get serious and draft a legit Center before day 3?
If not, what’s your plan after Shelton is jettisoned?
Limmer?
Dedich?
Trade/FA?

I believe Shelton is a good player who deserves a job in the NFL but is not strong enough for a title contending team. With AJ, probably McClendon, and possibly Avila, bringing in a young Center makes the Rams” OL a young, sustainable one.

I see Higbee and Stafford but does anyone know who the other 2 guys are?
I was wandering the same thing. Reeder is just behind McVay but I am not sure who the two men are on each side of Stafford. The one left of Stafford looks like it might be Dan Orlavsky, who I have heard is chummy with Stafford.

you want to cut our starting Center and punter? why create more holes?
Just spit balling. I was pointing out options for additional cap savings. I want the Rams to continue pursuing the perfect beast. I wouldn’t cut Shelton unless we picked up another OC FA like Tyler Linderbaum. And I wouldn’t cut Evans unless the new special teams coach feels that’s part of the overhaul for special teams. I’m not sure Evans is worth his $3.8 million price tag. Not sure either is likely.

I think Smith stays. He had an awful nfccg but he has been a Good punt return guy.

I think Havenstein, Durant, Curl are goners.
Curl is a keeper. The secondary has solid Safeties in my book Lake, Kinchens, Curl, and McCollough. No need to tamper with them.

Among the CBs, I would keep Forbes, Durant, Spoon, and build from there.

I totally agree on the Safeties.
I would love to see what the Safeties could do if they had some good support from the cornerbacks.

Unless of course a really hard-hitting brutal Safety falls to us in the draft.
I'm usually a BPA guy, but, as usual, we have some real holes to fill.

I would like to keep one of the two vet T we had this last year. Or, if there is a vet minimum sort of player the rams like better, sign that guy.
Either way, having vet emergency depth at OL is not a bad idea if it comes on the cheap.
Keeping one of Quisenberry or Humphries as cheap depth is not a bad idea to me.
Curl and McCreary Id like to keep.
Rivers I like, but, he is kind of like Reeder.
Sort of an idea 4th at his position.
Good team guy, knows the system, contributes on special team, can start or get reps in a pinch and is cheap.
Higbee leaving or retiring would be a bummer, but, age catches everyone. He can still play and make plays but health is a constant issue with Higs. Id like to see him return but unlikely.
Like Havenstein, Higs is an all time Ram.

I would also like to see them sign a veteran able to play left tackle confidently.
Humphries didn't look too good out there and they barely ever even activated Quisenberry.
Definitely an area that should be upgraded in the draft and/or free agency.
Center? Sure, if possible.
Dedich was a pleasant surprise.
Maybe we can develop some more mid round guys like him.

Definitely keep McCreary because he was our highest rated overall quarterback I believe.
He should even improve with a full camp.
But he and Cobie Durant are the only two I would definitely keep.
I don't think the others would even make other people's rosters to tell you the truth.

I can't prove anything but doesn't it say something that basically the same line that we had last year played lights out for us this year (with some bumps when not healthy) vs last year with the insertion of one player.

I'm not opposed to upgrading from Shelton but I think the upgrade may look quite different than people think.

I'd bring X Smith back because he costs nothing, but I'd add a talented returner this offseason, so X probably won't make the team.

Plenty of talented returners in this draft, and even Mario Williams has potential, is much younger and didn't fuck up in the biggest way possible in the biggest game of the year.

Thank him for the one fifty-yard punt return against San Fran during 2024/2025 and the deep passes when Atwell wasn't on the field, and move the hell on. If Pharoh Cooper gets cut for less of a fuck up with more production, X should get the boot as well for the biggest fuck up in the entire game.

Am I still bitter? You bet I am.

We were able to extend Q for about $12.25/year. I think we pony up the same amount to keep Curl around. Durant is a bit of a mystery but in the end I think we get a deal done with him. I think he’ll get around $10m or so a year. The Rams have a ton of cap this year and next so we should be able to re-sign those two.

I think Higbee and Havenstein will retire so we’ll lose those two.

Huh? Wasn’t he the starting center on the number one offense that was one game away from the Super Bowl? Are we looking for a center that also plays defense and special teams?
