A lot of whiny complaining... SMH.
Many seem to think the bar of expectation is for the Rams to finish the year by winning 15 straight...?
My take: the NFL is a tough league, and if the Rams need to have an off game, I'd prefer it to be today rather than later on vs the Hawks in the game for the NFC West championship.
Rams are still in prime position. If we win out, we are guaranteed no worse than the #2 seed. To retake #1 seed, Rams need to win out and have the Bears lose one of their remaining five. Bears have four very tough opponents ahead (GB, GBagain, SF, DET). Meanwhile, Rams have 2 tough games and 3 lightweights.
Rams had an absolutely brutal November in 2021. Sometimes a loss like this can let off some steam and give them a chance to get focused for a December run.
All the ingredients are still in place for a potential championship run. A loss very well might be beneficial in the long term. Rams played poorly but fought hard.
The rest of the year is gonna be a crazy ride.
