No dude definitely not taking anything out of context. He is basically saying the offense is terrible and Donald and Quinn are the only two on defense that look good. He's ripping the Rams (...and OC/Fish) a new icehole over there. Check it out. The comment I posted was just a small sample.
Where would one go to check it out? I'm not seeing any post from him at stltoday. Is it another site?

Tyron Smith is a chiseled 312. I guess his game doesnt meet Hammers standards either.

Hammer just needs to be angry at the world. He gets angry at the slightest questioning of his judgement and starts name calling. Why anyone listens to him is beyond logic, especially when you look back and realize he is wrong about 95% of the time.

Once he labels you stupid for doubting something he says, then his minions follow in suite and deride your every word.

The thing about Hammer is he is just another fan giving HIS opinion. It doesn't make him right or wrong, just makes him passionate about our team. I always thought he was the Yang to Coach O's Ying and I miss having another set of knowledgeable eyes on our team.

I was there briefly - but had my hands full with my kids who were in tow and immediately complaining about no playground, how hot it was, how thirsty they were. Geez. The wife and I needed a drink so had a frosty cold Bud Light from the beer guy. Gave him a $1 tip and he yells out 'CHA-CHING'! Guy love his tips. Saw a little bit of practice but biggest disappointment was not being able to spend some time meeting and chatting with my ROD buddies. I told my family that next year I'm coming BY MYSELF!! See what I did there???

Was gonna say that too Elm. Smith is one of the top 3 LTs in the game and helped run the best running O in the NFL last year.

Instead of crying about the weight loss, I'd be more concerned about actual proof of GRob getting tossed around by people he shouldn't be tossed around by. Haven't seen that in any reports.

He looks chiseled now and if it helps him play 100% each game for longer periods, don't see the problem.

Yeah, I read Hammer's stuff over at the other forum this morning... he's losing his shit, ranting about Robinson being too light, Fisher being mediocre and surrounded by mediocre coaches, etc. etc. etc.

Having interacted with him on the old Current Affairs forum, I'm kinda not surprised he's capable of going total nutter...

And GRob is still weighing in at 315, So I too think he'll be just fine!

Keep in mind that GRob ended the season with a toe injury - the more weight, the more pressure on toes and feet. Getting down to a very ripped weight that is still plenty for his position might make it less likely for his toe injury to recur, or for other foot injuries to happen.

And the reports I've seen are that he's lost fat, but gained muscle. The only concern as others have mentioned is whether he can absorb the grind that normally has them losing weight over the season. He can get around that some with the proper diet for his job though.

Exactly. No need getting upset over what he or anyone else says...just take it for what it is. I doubt you will change his mind nor he yours. If we all had the same manner and opinion, life would be pretty damn boring.

Where is this "secret" post whence only a few speak of, and less can read? You have my interests piqued now....C'mon...sharing is caring!!!!
@CanRamFan send me one too....

Crap! Sorry we missed you bra. I can see where the fam wouldn't have been too into the scene. It was damn hot and sticky out there.

I'm pretty sure it's impossible to lose weight overall if you replace the fat with muscle. You know the whole "muscle weighs more than fat".

Lose 10 pounds of fat, add 5 pounds of muscle - you've lost 5 pounds overall. I've certainly done it before, before laziness, love of beer, etc set in and I gained the weight back.

I love Hammer's post and his insight but maybe the problem is that to Hammer, every practice looks like a nail?

I believe a better measure is body fat %.....not necessarily weight in lbs.....
