A wise man once told me to never ask for something I am not prepared to get. He also told me to never get an item from your wifes purse, unless you are prepared for what you might find. Just give her the whole purse and save yourself the embarrassment. He gave me very good examples as to why it is in my best interest to follow this advice.

Wow, I was convinced he had a concussion and was holding his knee so he avoided concussion protocol—something NFL players do all the time. He hit his head pretty good on the play, I didn’t even see the knee part. Crazy.

Darnold wasn’t asked to do much last game at all - I’m wondering what his oblique status is for this week. Sure he will be doped up but if he really isn’t right, that could mean that the deep ball isn’t as big of a threat for Sea. In the 9ers rout this weekend, his longest pass was 20 yards and he only threw 12/17 - 124 all game. Could be script - it was a blowout - but he may not be quite right yet.
