I feel bad for Jones. I know I can be a tough critic of players at this level. But to even reach the NFL as a backup is a huge accomplishment. Ditto for playing in college. It must be tough being so close and having it ripped away by an injury. Jones' shot may have just slipped away.

Isn’t it a 5-7 days wait and see? If so, I’d have to think he will be.

I honestly think a lot of teams, us included, are using some of the COVID IR rules to stash guys we don't wanna lose.

I know there could be complications and I wouldn't want to put that out there, but it seems on too many teams that I look at that there are a plethora of young guys who've all of a sudden been around someone with COVID.

However, because Garrett is the only guy not vaccinated (figured out by deduction, no one outed him, per se) , he's got 10 days, will be required to mask on the sideline and in all facilities and will be tested daily.

The Covid protocols are going to be the ultimate wildcard this year. I wonder how much the team training staffs are involved - if at all - into trying to keep players off this list.

Dallas is already down their best lineman for a huge opening game.
