That's unfortunate. Hate him going to a better (than cowboys) NFC team. All though I don't know what to think of the NFC North this year. Going to be a slugfest between all four teams. Luckily, we don't have to play the Packers this season for the first time in what seems like forever.

Cowboys straight robbed lol

Packers got a good defender but it remains to be seen what they have on O.

Unless...does this bump the Pack up enough to where they'll be playing in the NFCCG (a game in which I'm obviously assuming the Rams will be playing in)?

Don’t like this for us, but Jordan Love has cooled off since he exploded two years ago. Game film and all that. Thumb injury currently.

If he doesn’t have a hot year it probably doesn’t matter what they do on defense.

Surprised Dallas traded him within the Conference, and to a top-tier-team.

Also, really thought Dallas could have gotten more than two (almost certainly) late first round picks.
Clark is very good but has a lot of football under his belt, and will turn thirty this season.

Would have thought a young defensive starter, like LB Edgerrin Cooper, or Edge Lukas Van Ness might have been included.

If I was a Dallas Cowboys' fan, I would absolutely hate this trade.
Jerry Jones has made a ton of money, helped the NFL grow, kept his Cowboys in the headlines and even helped get the Rams back to Los Angeles ... BUT ... five playoff wins in three decades, and not even a single Divisional Round playoff victory in that time.
THAT is Absolutely NOT the guy you want as an owner if you are a fan that wants to win.

Agreed. Kenny Clark doesn’t cut it. I’d want a younger star type player. I get the two late first round picks. The Packers had to pay him too. That weakens the offer.

Maybe Jerry wasn’t getting that much interest. A lot of teams couldn’t make that contract work. That likely narrows the options.

It NEVER HAD TO GET TO THIS POINT!!!

Dear god, and the same thing with Dak's contract. Self inflicted gun shot wounds all over this team.

Seeing the price Parsons went for, I'm now rethinking my stance against trading for him.

Some assumed Verse would need to be included, while I assumed the Falcons '26 1st would need to be included. The Pack gave up what will likely be 2 late 1sts and an over-the-hill player.

Our '26 Rams 1st, '27 1st, and Byron Young would have been a better offer.

I think I would have been willing to pay that for a gamebreaking player. We'd then have two with Parsons and Verse.

I kinda like this for Detroit. Break them kneecaps MP. My cousins are probably really happy about this. I think MP jinxed himself by laying on that table the last preseason game though. What a putz.

Fuck! $47m per year ave. Packers ain't fucking around at all. Verse is definitely looking at 50+m contract in a couple (2 more years if we do it early and avoid this kind of shit). Yikes. Raised the bar one helluva lot. Would have much rather seen him go to the Browns, just for the circus of it, could have been fun.
