Well time to get excited my Rams brother. You cant teach this kind of arm talent. You're born with it or you're not.

Look at this fucking guy play QB.

Man, that video got me hyped. Loving the optimism your bringing right now man.

Just logged on and saw this. Been out all day and haven't heard any news ... about anything ... until now.

I fucking love it. I'm a huge Matty fan. Dude is nails.

Now I gotta make this trade on Madden.
And it sure as SHIT won't cost me THAT. :ROFLMAO:

It takes a few hours.

Ain't that the damn truth haha

At least we won't have multiple Goff bashing threads.
Thanks christ. Here I was thinking we were gonna have like 30 Goff threads this season. Glad it's over TBH

Wow, that perspective though...wow

Sloman bashing threads
Bonamego bashing threads
Goff Bashing threads

Next?

We can keep going in on Bonamego, I don't mind haha

Stafford's contract for 2021 is $20 million. People are saying we're going to extend it to lower his cap hit for the year, but as of now, we're losing around $8 million in cap space.
Thanks for the correction if true ..... I got my number from a reliable podcast tonight. I will have to double check their numbers next time.

Shit makes me want to cry...
Yeah man, it's the death of a dream and loss of someone we all cared about that sucks...I'm with you there

You might be right. I dont know. Goff and Gurley were two of my favorite Rams of all time and they're now both gone. Seems like just last year we had them both locked up for the foreseeable future. Oh wait, we did.

My sentiments exactly.
I know Gurley had an injury, Goff is a different case, but other than the likes of Brockers and Donald, we are seeing a lot of players come and go, especially on defence.

I think this team is going to continue this trend and throw all our best picks in trades and take a chance in later rounds.

It had nothing to do with replacing Saffold and Sully with two rookies and a castaway at RG, right? Not to mention Gurley and Cooks being shadows of themselves?

I hope I'm wrong. But I don't think this move will do much, other than get Goff off our books for 2022. Stafford will be a FA, too. And we won't have a first until 2024. Good lord.
I see it as stafords chance to make the Super bowl. I dunno but he was at once an elite qb with a garbage team around him. The only other guy he's had is megatron.
QBs are playing into their 40s now. I'm not too worried about him being 30. If he plays well this next season we have a real chance at a deep playoff run again. Maybe further and I know he's better than goff so color me optimistic

They were probably talking about base salary. We also have to pay Stafford's roster bonus ($10 million) and workout bonus ($500k).

i could only get through 9 pages. I was actually in the Stock pics thread all night and had no idea we were going crazy over here with football related news.

So my take is the Rams dont give a shit about 1st round picks. I dont either, too many misses for the 1st round money.

Welcome Matt Stafford!

We’ll learn more of the back story on the Rams being so eager to move on from thier golden boy in due time.

@LA Rams- now that you’ve played this card, fix the fucking offensive line!

The goal = to win the Super Bowl

And McVay so badly believed he could never win a SB with Goff, that he traded away 2 more firsts just to be rid of Goff and that contract. It just so happens that we ended up with Stafford as compensation.

Giving up a first and a third to get rid of a QB who is winning is an unspeakably dumb decision, unless you replace him with a QB who wins a Super Bowl. They went all in on Stafford to win a Super Bowl. If he doesn't do that in the next two or three years, this deal was a failure of epic proportions. And god help this franchise if Goff actually plays well in Detroit (which doesn't look likely with all their WRs being free agents, but you never know).
Well they kinda have the draft picks to maybe put some talent around him at least .. maybe I don’t a deep threat and a decent online

Lions fans told me that their OL can be really good. They say the left side of the OL (Decker, Jackson, and Ragnow) is great. But the right side has some inconsistencies due to players shuffling around.
