Don't forget moron. And he's in for a very uncomfortable future where Goff proves him wrong.

Actually these guys don't care. They're wrong a lot. But they just pretend it didn't happen and move on to the next narrative. Florio lost all credibility to me when he said Dak Prescott was much better than Goff. The Cowboys are going to pay elite money to a quarterback who will never be elite. Jared Goff has a chance to be elite.

Imagine if Zuerline missed that game winner and Saints went on to win. The narrative on Goff would be totally different. He'd be the scrappy kid who almost brought the Rams back in the second half with some clutch throws. A 24 year old with a bright future.

Because of the Superbowl, some view him now as questionable whether or not he should be extended. To them you're only as good as your last game. Unfortunately there were no more games to bounce back from after that one.

Early on, one of the things that impressed me the most about Goff:

In December 2016, after his disappointing rookie season, he promised the fans he’d “give everything in his heart and soul to get things fixed.”

He kept that promise.

Sooner or later, Goff is gonna win a Super Bowl for us.

Most all of us at ROD don't give a crap what the NFL writers, media or how fans of other teams regurgitate their perception of #16.
