Well, at least the offense tried. Scored 7 runs. Thats a good sign. But they couldn't overcome the bullpen. I think our only hope is that our experienced big game tested team turns it around in October.

Betts is graded out as the best defensive Shortstop in the NL.

Maybe but his offense has just spiraled down.
I think Rojas and Kim can be very capable defensive shortstops.
And then Betts can get his hitting going again and move Teo to left field where he belongs. Plus Betts defense in right field would be a huge improvement in the outfield.
Conforto has just been a major disappointment this year.

They're lucky San Diego is on a losing streak too. I'm seeing them going into the playoffs no better than 3rd seed. If they win the division. That's still far from a given. Nope. As expected a last place team swept the Dodgers. Again. Hope they can hold onto the division lead. At least get home field in the wild card round.
Dodgers this year can't beat last place teams. If the team has a winning record, then the Dodgers have a much better chance of winning.
