CLASS Jr.

Williams is undersized and not particularly athletic, but for the third-down role he'd fill, it may not be that important.

He has the best combination of pass-protecting prowess and receiving ability in the class.

Career Highlights

10 broken tackles on only 17 carries vs. Navy (2021)
91-yard TD run and 199 yards vs. North Carolina (2021)

High School – St. John Vianney
2,035 rushing yards, 725 receiving yards and 40 total touchdowns as a senior
Helped St. John Vianney to the 2018 Class 5 Missouri State Championship

thats the shit I'm talking about...Love it!!!!!

I'm reading that if he didn't run a 4.65 40 time he was a lock to be a 2nd-3rd round pick. Rams use GPS speed data over pure 40 times so this has a Kupp feel to me in a lot of ways. There's a legit chance he pushes Hendo for backup duties. I'm loving everything about this kid.
Did I read that he has quite a bit of return experience? Gonna be hard to justify Tutu if he can’t return kicks and he’s 5th or lower on the wr depth chart.

I think Tutu and Powell will have a super tough time making this team

I expected you to come back with something alluding to sub types being in marching band. :laugh4:

But with Kupp, at least, we had other athletic traits that indicated something good there... short area times.

This kid? Nope.
His Pro Day results were solid. But no, he's not a great athlete. He is, however, a good football player. Intelligent, physical, skilled, and shifty.

He's a major weapon in the passing game:

Glad we have 3 legit RB's who can catch and pass block. Hopefully McVay figures out a rotation to keep them fresh and clean.

I like what he offers in the passing game, 3rd down, etc.

Running he has good balance, seems to set up blocks well, and keeps his legs moving. The NFL is faster. But, he sounds like he has the drive to work at his game.

There are intangibles that appear there.

I have to agree. He seems like the younger, cheaper version.
I have to think that way because I thought Michel was HUGE for the Rams and too easily dismissed.
