His branding says “I want to be a distraction”, not “I want to learn a new offense and play football”.
No Thank You
No Thank You
No, these are mostly print journalists I used to work with. Will they be covering our Rams games on the big networks?
And I doubt anyone would consider him worth the circus that would certainly follow him. If he were starter material he'd be playing though.
To address the idea that he would bring unwanted attention I say this.
Lots and lots of players are kneeling and there is no media distraction anymore. The media has for the most part moved on, and in fact CBS, Fox, ESPN and NBC aren't showing the national anthem anyway. It's a non issue.
Also he has said on a couple of occasions his plan was only to do it for one season, so he wouldn't be kneeling.

We should of traded for Bridgewater."Knowing" the offense is not overly relevant if you haven't actually shown much ability to actually run it.
CK is not ideal, but he has actually shown an ability to run an NFL offense, even if he's not great. I'd love for somebody better to be freely available. That's not the case. Give him a few weeks to learn the basics of the offense and he is likely to be better than Mannion.
If you have a better upgrade for Mannion, that'd be great, though. But I don't see one necessarily, without trading for one. And that is unlikely. Or do you think that given what we've actually seen last season and in preseason, that Mannion can actually run this offense, despite all the evidence against it?
This thread sucks ass
I am probably in the minority that doesn't think cap is a circus. He also kneels as a sign of respect for the military. For some reason this detail gets omitted. I would love him as a backup qb.
