Will they be covering our Rams games on the big networks?
No, these are mostly print journalists I used to work with.

But you can slowly see that people are starting to catch on to which team is the premier team in the NFL.

And I doubt anyone would consider him worth the circus that would certainly follow him. If he were starter material he'd be playing though.

To address the idea that he would bring unwanted attention I say this.

Lots and lots of players are kneeling and there is no media distraction anymore. The media has for the most part moved on, and in fact CBS, Fox, ESPN and NBC aren't showing the national anthem anyway. It's a non issue.

Also he has said on a couple of occasions his plan was only to do it for one season, so he wouldn't be kneeling.

Oh and those other players that are kneeling are they also wearing socks depicting police officers as pigs and wearing T-shirts in Miami with Castro’s picture on it. Give me a break! If anyone out there doesn’t think all this guy is is an attention whore than you need your brains examined. The guy is a class A hand job.

Don't go there.

"Knowing" the offense is not overly relevant if you haven't actually shown much ability to actually run it.

CK is not ideal, but he has actually shown an ability to run an NFL offense, even if he's not great. I'd love for somebody better to be freely available. That's not the case. Give him a few weeks to learn the basics of the offense and he is likely to be better than Mannion.

If you have a better upgrade for Mannion, that'd be great, though. But I don't see one necessarily, without trading for one. And that is unlikely. Or do you think that given what we've actually seen last season and in preseason, that Mannion can actually run this offense, despite all the evidence against it?
We should of traded for Bridgewater. :( Guess we are in a direct course for a QB in the upcoming draft!

Boy, do we have a Mexican Hat Dance going on here, or what?

Bunch of folks trying not to say what they mean.

I don't like it because what makes this forum so special is that we trade in our honest opinions...and who's gonna argue that THAT is happening in this thread?

Bottom line is that we all know we're different, come from different backgrounds, religions, races, creeds, class...the whole nine yards.

We come together in the spirit of our beloved Rams.

I don't want us to avoid this subject because of the subject.

I'm done with us talking about it because it almost requires that we not be our genuine selves with one another on a topic on which many have strong opinions and the scope of those opinions are beyond the scope of this forum.

So much in the same vein that we don't discuss religion or politics, honestly, I think think this subject is over because this subject is both.

We're watching maybe, potentially, the greatest Ram team of all time and even a nano-second on subjects like this spent with our fellow Ram brothers in the limited time we all have... seems wasted. Utterly and thoroughly wasted.

That's just my opinion.

I'd hate for any of us to miss what's before us because of distraction.

Love you all, my Ramily.

Horns up and Ram On!

I am probably in the minority that doesn't think cap is a circus. He also kneels as a sign of respect for the military. For some reason this detail gets omitted. I would love him as a backup qb.

Good points.........however he is a really, really bad fit for this O. This offense requires more reading/diagnosing than he can do.

He is a one read and checkdown/run style of QB. The play design the Rams use sends 2-4 players out on patterns that are all over the field. That's more than CK can do from what I have seen of him.
