You learn a lot about a person by the choices they make in life, for by their actions they prove what they are. Many people in bad situations and circumstances in life don't make choices that denigrate themselves as she has chosen to do. So yes, by her choices she is proving herself a skank.

For porn stars? No - no they didn't. I think it's safe to say that I actually have more "respect" for porn stars. Just because I think they are skanks though, does not mean I think they are less than human - just that I wouldn't associate with them or date them.

I think it's a generational thing tbh. There are actually a lot of intelligent, clean, respectable women in the adult film industry that would probably make for good partners post retirement. It's a career choice at the end of the day and the slut shaming has gotten a bit antiquated.

It's true, you're right. I found this quote from her on the internet about how she got started in porn.

Yes it's generational in many ways, because porn is pretty close to mainstream because of the internet. And they make good money, albeit for not a long time of course. But they are well paid for what is really a part time job.
Side note..........I worked with a guy and we stayed in touch even after we didn't work together, though we haven't talked for some time now. He worked for a company that was sort of invented to protect the industry. He was at the time friends with and knew plenty of porn stars, and still is friends with a few very well know actresses including Nina Hartley with whom he is good friends. He knew some distributors because he owned a video rental store back when those were everywhere and of course the back rooms with the XXX stuff was a big money maker for those businesses.
He once told me to put the porn convention on my bucketlist LOL.
A book was published some years back about the industry and he was mentioned in it. It's called Skin Flicks. He gave me his copy, which several people had read and it was pretty crazy stuff and entertaining to read.
