I just recently got my first authentic NFL jersey and I've noticed two things.
The first thing I noticed is that nobody cares whose name is on the jersey. People come up to me all the time and say "You're a Rams fan eh?" while none have said, Who's Richardson? I got this Daryl Richardson jersey because it was cheap due to the fact that he's no longer a Ram and probably not even in the NFL any longer.
The second thing I noticed is that despite the supposed high quality of the jersey, the lettering and design is cheap plastic and already cracking even though I hand wash it and infrequently at that. Twice to be exact. This is exactly what happens with every other cheap jersey or t-shirt made with plastic and/or iron on logos. I prefer the cheap t-shirts where the design and logos dyed into the fabric.
