Is Donald coming back??

Should probably consider the personal sacrifice and physical toll that football took on AD. The guy gave more of himself than any player I've ever seen. It's an enormous commitment for him. Makes total sense that he's not going to make any decision quickly or lightly.

Man left the game with his body and mind intact and I hope he makes the best decision for him. He doesn't owe us anything.

This is the best comment I've read about the whole Donald situation, from either side. I have not been considering the risk of injury. That's a huge factor. I instantly thought of Alex Smith. Here's a picture of his leg, that he has to live with for the rest of his life. This is a big decision for Donald. I was going to be pissed off if he didn't come back, but now I'm thinking I won't be upset at all if that is his decision. It's just entertainment for us fans, but real life for the players.

Wow - sorry to hear that.TOTALLY wish you well. That’s never a good thing.Hopefully you can find a solution to live a happy & healthy life if you haven’t already?sometimes having love & support
gets you through tough days.I know I’ve been blessed,maybe taking those things for granted.

Good time to be a Rams Fan though.My dad had to terminals. imo would have lasted a couple months longer if The Angles were playing well having a chance still.Glad it wasn’t this year,but then again having him around for another 12 years would’ve been pretty sweet.I run a little goofy,& I know people have said that phrase to someone.The other line is life is like a box of chocolates.—Being able to still chose & enjoy what you have left. —My advice is to not let it get stale.

Maybe we are lucky enough to see AD99 winning a Superbowl with The Rams . 2026/27 at SOFI & get a taste of that victory.

Rams shouldn't expect "immediate signing of Aaron Donald"
"Aaron Donald is essentially trying to get himself ready for the upcoming season," Schefter explained, per Jack McKessy and Madison Tenenbaum of USA Today. "I don't think, and it doesn't sound like, we're gonna get an immediate answer, or an immediate signing, of Aaron Donald. He is too busy trying to get himself back into football shape, to try to regain some of the form he might've lost in two years away from football, and he's not gonna come back until he feels like he's ready to be Aaron Donald again."

"There are incremental steps, and it doesn't sound like it's going to move fast," Schefter added about the Donald situation. "We may not see Donald back in a Rams uniform until early in the season."

Yeah I read this and hope it's sooner than that, but totally understand AD taking his time to get in football shape. He's been out for 2 years and I have to imagine his standards for being in football shape are higher than most. If we get him back, it'll be historic as I'm not sure you'll ever see a much highly prized D line as the Rams would have with him back in the fold. I'm definitely going to a few home games if this happens although I'm sure it'll cost more than usual but fuck it lol

I'm chilling and responding to posts while inadvertently unsettling people with a simple opinion so don't worry, I'm breathing just fine. I'm also with you on can't wait for the season to start. Really amped about the uniform release too tomorrow, but there's another thread for that. No guarantees what we'll see.....aw shit my bad, I did it again... sorry can't help but make fun of something that trivial :laugh1:
 
Just watched Chris Long’s YouTube channel, the show that focused on AD. What a great watch with some very cool inside information including having the msn himself, 99, telling some stories. Having him back would be the biggest gift any Rams fan could get. Not that anyone took him for granted but damn what a beast that guy was/is.
