To bad more of the current Rams players don't have the same attitude
I really think they will feed off of McVay and we will see a significant change in the team's attitude. Otherwise, if they don't they won't be around long.

To be honest, I don't want him either. He wouldn't help us get any closer to being a winner.

Plus last time I checked, his team isn't a winner either.

My immediate reaction was to lash out at that comment, but then I thought about it.
Is he really wrong? I'm sure he'd say the same thing to a Browns or Jaguars fan.

Same. We can say as fans he just doesn't realize how close the team is. Then as a fan I realize I've said the team was very close for about 7 years now.

Fuck it you guys we are counting on you to blast him. Maybe something like "If you want to win why not stay in CIN? Or don't they want you and that's why you don't have a contract". Go get him!

I don't blame the guy and there are plenty that will sign and the fact of playing in Los Angeles on the greatest stage will be enough of an asset to land other FA's.

Don't count on the playing in LA thing, it's not going to effect much in free agency. When a player hits the market they want to get paid OR they are at the end of their carer and are looking for a shot at a ring. They are either chasing $$$ or a ring.

Only one way to change people's perception.

W-I-N

Let's start doing this in 2017 and FA's will be lining up soon enough.

I disagree Les,for some of them the stage does matter.

That's journalism now. Anyone can make a story out of a tweet, and most of them do. Additionally, most of them just take the transcripts that get distributed - find a quote - and turn it into something it's not or twist it into something that fits their narrative.

Mo clicks + mo comments = mo money.

IMO no way........but I wonder if we can come up with any that said that..........all I can recall is guys getting paid and chasing rings.

By the way I don't blame them or hold them at fault or see them in any lesser light. It's just the nature of the beast.

Dear Internet,

Thank you for the porn you provide, we appreciate it especially @den-the-coach and so many others who may otherwise have "trouble".

But why did you fuck up reporting and journalism?

Can we swap this shit out? Flip it around a bit mebbe? Let's talk!

Thanks!

About as easy clicks as it gets. Pluck the low hanging fruit and butthurt fans won't be able to contain themselves in clicking and vibrate angrily to the comments to berate Kirkpatrick despite him being completely right.

a) why anyone takes tweets as fully contextual arguments or thoughts or feelings of a human being is beyond me.

b) if the Rams truly feel that Dre Kirkpatrick would be an addition that would help the Rams win, then I think they'd make the case... he'd be playing under Wade Philips...with Aaron Donald, Robert Quinn, Alec Ogletree, Michael Brockers, Mark Barron... his HC would be Sean McVay who turned Kirk Cousins from 4th round no dress backup into a top rated QB and that this team is about to go on an extended winning streak.

The question won't be "did we lose before" Cuz... yeah.

The question will be, "we're about to do a lot of winning now. You wanna be a part of that?"

See, that's a FAR different question. Dre, off the cuff, might be thinking of the old Fisher Rams and not realizing how much is about to be changing. Can't hold that against the guy. Knowing the Rams like we do isn't his business.

But if the Pro Personnel folks are interested in him or anyone, I have faith that making the case for us won't be as hard as it once was. And honestly, when guys like Josh Norman, Desean Jackson and Pierre Garcon are singing your praises (as well as what? 20-30 other top players? at least?) I'm pretty sure via the player grapevine that any LA spots are going to look really good come late February...

This dude is a clown. He's not hardly a NFL corner on a good day. This is a guy you can label as a "bust". Just like Aaron Curry.

exactly. If I was a young NFL player with only a few years of being able to do it, I sure as h@il wouldn't go to a team that hasn't had a winning season in over 10 years. You can't get angry at a guy for that, which is a problem for us come FA period.
