The way they finished the season, and with the addition of Poona, I don’t think they’re shocking anyone but fans of other teams. I’m guessing every team on our schedule will be expecting a pretty fierce defense.

You're right, however I was thinking of most of the fanbases.
Just wasn't very clear with my intent. I get all googly when I think of our Def's potential
I think most fanbases are becoming aware of our Nasty dline
For me personally The ILB"s are the most intriguing group going into the season
so much talent and potential, Starting with Speights 2nd year jump , Landman, Pooh,
Dolac, Fields? It will be a process as the dline was last year. Shula and his staff
will find the best way to use the guys that make the cut.
It's a position group that has been a sore spot more than not.
I just don't want to hear the bobble heads talking about our pass
rush. I want to hear how difficult it is to run against them Rams!

Forbes (I can't believe I'm saying this given what I thought of picking him up last year) is the dark horse that makes this defense great.
Forbes legit has a chance to take a starting spot at CB and shine there.

the defense will be fine IMO as long as health prevails,,,,
a season of healthy rams, offense and defense, makes us legit SB contenders...
don't be fooled by mcvay, the ultimate sandbagger... stafford is playing.. period
