I don't think that will ever happen under mcsnead. They simply don't believe and using top resources on the oline.

Yeah ask Snead about that OT from Auburn. Do I even post his name ? At least Mcvay shipped him off to Detroit if correct?

Outscored 44-3 in 4th quarter. That is the stat that is troubling.

Was thinking about the different OC’s & play calling. I have my opinion, but wanted to ask Ram Fans there about Sean Mcvay & his OC’s?

To give a simple observation is I’d rather Cohen than Kevin O’Connell.

Detroit 164 rushing yards per game, and 5 sacks allowed.

Rams 68 rushing yards per game, and 16 sacks allowed.

Dude perfect stat. It's funny it like I love Jared but it's like the Mr. Burns sitting on the sidelines that were just waiting to throw those stats out there. That o-line is great and I'm happy for Jared and hope he kills it. It bothers me that now those stats pop up but last year's don't and the Superbowl trump's all stats.

I'm on the rams every day I'm always up for change and it ruins my week when they lose and while excuses are excuses the stats you put up are perfect dude. They mean everything to what's going on and to be fair yes we need to get better but while the o-line I don't believe is anything special it's still better than this so let's worry more about Stafford and his long term health rather than just Biden your time to put up Jared stats. You enjoyed the Superbowl don't come out of the shadows after enjoying it to throw goffs stats up as if we should be remorseful in anyway. You can't have your cake and eat it too. It's all about timing and Goff wouldn't have won that Superbowl last year. I do hope he wins one with Detroit though and no it won't kill me because everyone gets what they wanted.

Glad you put up the stats dude. Those few words tell the story more than my rant lol

The Lions make it a priority. Unlike this bunch, which drafts a 7th string flea WR instead of a pro bowl center STARING them right in the face. I'm a big fan Snead and McVay, but their occasional myopia is maddening.
I agree. It drives me batshit. And yet the Lions probably have no chance to win shit in the next few years. They'll be a playoff exit type team at best even with that stout OL.

It's hard to win trophies in this league. You need to have the staff and roster, and nowadays you'd better have the front office too because you can be picked clean in a couple offseasons. This is why I always say McVay is the window. He elevates a bunch of shit just having him running the show.

Well this is of course very opinion based and personally I don't think our defense is good enough to put them over the top. I think they have problems at the coordinator level, and I don't think their QB/weapons function well enough in the crunch to do shit in the playoffs even if they had a defense.

To put them over the top they'd need a rare defense in quality. Ours is not anywhere close to that.
I believe that too (about the coordinator not the qb/weapons) but based on what we seem so far they could have the 25th best defense and still be 4-0. How the hell you score 35+ 3 times in 4 games and only have 1 win to show for it? The offense has been clutch so far and the defense can't stop a grandma..it's embarrassing as a football fan to see.

A Stafford led offense will never have a top running game. So no its not relevant.

Well Cam Akers is starting to not look like the right call either? Hard to say,but I actually like The Rams offensive lineman.
My biggest problem with The Rams drafting Tutu Atwell vs Creed is SIZE!!

I don’t know if it is(was) a Snead thing or not. First off the players The Rams find in the later rounds is incredible.

Then again makes one wonder. I think A’ Jackson is not getting enough credit. He wasn’t even drafted, but Les Snead(Mcvay) keep bringing these UDRFA in like a kid Cutch?

I can go on & on. Simple is smallish Centers. Then you use them as a Guard. If Humphries didn’t make it ahead of Shelton or Allen then he could play guard.
—WTF were The Rams THINKING? I mean if we really look back(no one brings it up) that Austin Corbett was The Rams NUMBER 1 CENTER going into 2021. Really ? Brian Allen backup RG coming out of OTA’s 2021?

I cheered for Brian Allen to be The Rams starting Center. We all watch last season. It was a Great(result) Finish. The thing is the thought process & draft evolution.

Mcvay makes me LMAO when it came to Brussss being drafted. I don’t know. It’s not for me to say. Les Snead & Sean Mcvay are Great. I’m just a poster, but the MOJO is the MOJO.We all have our ideas.

I like The Rams players. The guy I would say I dislike more than others is Taylor Rapp. It’s more about his size.

Going back to size & Snead.

Trade up for Tavon Austin,J Joyner I didn’t like. Tutu Atwell just adds to his ways IMO.You look at is for what it is. I can evaluate them, but it’s not my place.

Anyways Go Rams!! I think The Rams do an excellent job & are a great organization. This season is going to be a big test.Beating Arizona was huge. The 9ers game was big,but in 3 weeks against the 9ers could be The Season? Hard call.

I feel like no matter the score overall each game comes down to a handful of plays where it's won and lost. You can put up 40 points as an offense but then not drive down and get that final score and lose and the end result is your offense was not good enough to win.

Then of course in that scenario fans will argue over how the defense was the problem and how 40 points should always be a win. But none of that matters. When the chips are on the table you gotta deliver or you lose.

With the Lions I don't get that feel that they're going to march down and score in two minute. Especially in a supercharged environment like the playoffs. I think that's part of the reason they're 1-3. They don't make the key plays they need to make on either side of the ball.

It's the same way with the defense. You can hold a team to 6 points all day long but if you surrender the final drive and lose 13-10 you weren't good enough. Doesn't matter that the offense wasn't good enough either. Each unit gets graded accordingly to winning those key moments.

Idk man just this year the offense went right down the field to score and never saw the ball again with the game on the line. so it's kinda hard to tell. But I hear you.

Yeah, Boom was a 3rd round pick, Allen a 4th & Havenstein a 2nd with Edwards being a 5th round selection. I concur time for more draft capital to be added to this group and upper tier draft capital at that.

Not saying their offense has failed to close games out, as I haven't been watching them all that much. Think I saw one full game of theirs. Rather I am just talking in general, and that I think is why it's so hard to quantify when you come up short.

I mean in the example I cited you could say the defense should get the stop and be right. Or you could get into burning the clock on the previous drive and maybe leaving the opponent with no time to answer.

Detroit's that team that I don't have faith to close games out period. If the ball is in Goff's hands and they need a FG then I think they might get it done. But if you're in two minute and you need 7 that's a whole other ball game. That's where you want the QB who brings the savvy and competitiveness to complete the comeback. I don't think that's Jared though he may end up being that guy at some point if they can develop him.

As frustrated as I get, when I turn on my computer I still see this as my background every day and even if this year is a catastrophe how upset can we really get.

No doubt. My cell wallpaper I see about a hundred times a day….

Right!

The injuries and overall performance has been unexpected. Of course one affects the other although even taking that into consideration we have been quite underwhelming.

This is where players, coaches and even the F.O have to come together and right the ship

2021…Week 13…

Cardinals 9-2 (including W vs Rams)
Rams 7-4
49ers 6-5 (including W vs Rams)

Just sayin’

No and I said why. You're not gonna have a run game with Stafford at qb. It's not gonna happen.

He did just that last year against Minnesota with no time left (I didn't think he could at the time) but it was awesome to see it live.
