Didn't prefer the mercy at the end of the game.

Someone in the office pool is happy they didn't score. Someone else is pissed they didn't score.

Classy move by McVay. No need to run up the score in that situation. Showing respect to the other team goes a long way. Look at how the Cardinals ownership went out of their way to accommodate the Rams during the playoffs and the fire situation. The Rams do it the right way. The Eagles not so much with how they handled the waiver wire thing and claimed a player they wanted but it wasn't a class move.
I tell my GF whos an Eagles fan, that the Eagles are assholes all the time!

Cards are the least hated in our Division I think.

Meh. We were going to kick the FG until the run off that made the play unnecessary. I don’t want our coach being asshole face. I’m proud of how he conducts business.

I do wonder how often (or if ever), point differential has been used to decide a playoff position. I can’t recall a single instance.

In this case, theoretically kicking the FG opens you up to a blocked kick (cite: last TD a few minutes earlier), onside kick, Hail Mary and a tie game. Logic says do nothing and the game is over. Try for a FG and there is a tiny chance something bad happens. But generally as you say, "Meh"

I was a bit sad Kyren didn't plough into the end zone a play earlier. 40-19 would have been nice, and still done honorably.

If SOMEHOW we get up on the Eagles I would be all in on running up the score.
Just some sort of payback for breaking the unwritten rule and swiping our young center.
POS move, but we were dumb enough to put him out there I guess.
