Looking at the up-coming game, it will be interesting to see how the Titans game-plan and adjust.
They really don't have a back-up power-RB.
Their #2 back is Jeremy McNichols; and he's a good player but he's more of a compliment to a power back. McNichols is used more in passing situations, and doesn't even have ten carries thus far this season. He can start and play well but he is not going to carry the ball 15-20 times between the tackles.
Looking at the Titans' depth chart and roster, there are fullbacks and practice squad options, who combined look like they have zero carries through eight games.
Will Tennessee's offense try to quickly adjust to more of a passing-attack?
TN has major talent at WR, with Julio Jones and A.J. Brown but Jones has been out with a hamstring injury (believe he is close to returning). Ryan Tannehill is a good QB but the Titans' passing-game is predicated on play-action which is going to be far less scary without Derrick Henry in the backfield.
I would guess (I only have about an 14% success rate on my guesses), Tennessee tries to add a RB before tomorrow's trade-deadline. However, I don't see them adding a big-name-player. Just a serviceable veteran ... perhaps off a team with a poor record.
