When does the clock start ticking? From the last game played? If so, maybe Edwards is good to go by Monday night, 8 calendar days between games. I think a number of players get out of protocol in a week's time.

I guess I'm doing something wrong because I still don't see where it's mentioned that Evans got the job.
On the Rams team-web-site, there's a six-minute McVay press conference from today.
In discussing Edwards' status, McVay says 'there's a good chance that Bobby Evans will step in there'
OK, as long as it's only once when Aboushi's shoes come untied.

Nah, I think mostly they were saying he hasn't played as well as once did. Not that he sucked. But, if it means Evans plays then it could be disastrous.Weren’t folks using Edwards as a punching bag just a week ago?

They have.
I’m actually encouraged about the line, overall. Jackson is their 5th guard and he’s done well.
I’m just hoping Evans can survive.
