People love to throw the thug and dirty mantra around Miami. But I simply has not been the case over the last five or so years.

I’m not excusing the punch, but the Indiana player was making fun of Fletcher’s recently deceased father

Also, in that same game, the Indiana player took a very clear and concise kick to Fletcher’s nuts. Very easy to see that it was on purpose.

That’s dirty.

I cannot say I wouldn’t have done the same if I was Fletcher in that moment

It's not just Fletcher's punch. There was an incredibly dirty hit to Mendoza on that one play by JaKobe Thomas. Yes, Mendoza is trying to block, but there is zero reason to launch with the crown of your helmet on his jaw. Players have been ejected for lesser targeting calls, and that was absolutely the definition of targeting.

I couldn't believe that wasn't a penalty, and that was only the most egregious hit out of three late hits that should've been flagged.

And Beck's shitty attitude before, during, and after the game made me root for Miami even less.

Believe me, I'd love Bain or Mesidor on the Rams, and Toney is explosive as hell and a hell of a player, but that dirty moniker was earned this game.

I’ll be honest, I was shocked the Thomas hit wasn’t flagged. That flag is thrown 9/10 times. It was uncalled for
