Don’t get me wrong, I am still celebrating.

I’m not a doomsday fan. Anyone that knows me is very aware.
But pro players should know this game in and out.
In a perfect world, no player would make mistakes but we see it all the time. I was just mostly trying to say, let's focus on us actually winning even with all the mistakes the Rams made (which there is plenty). The Rams definitely played a very ugly game and were fortunate enough to have the opportunities to pull it out in the end. We definitely need them to play better next week to have the right to go back to the Superbowl. So happy we won vs the Bears.

Games played does not always equal healthy. I think Durant is a very good CB3.
I'd say CB2/3 but we need good quality players at that position. Is he the best? Of course not, but he's someone we can definitely count on during gameday. I'm definitely not advocating for him to be a CB1 at all since this team doesn't truly have one. As long as his asking price isn't crazy, he'd be good to have on the roster.

Durant is gone. He's not big enough, physical enough, or consistent enough to start on this defense. This division requires good corners who can tackle in space. No way the Rams pay his tiny ass to stick around.

What he's playing for right now is a ring, and his FA payoff. Hopefully in that order, but I really don't care as long as he plays the way he did tonight in the next two games.

After paying Tutu, anything is possible in my opinion. His tiny ass may still be around but the Rams would be wise to upgrade the position no matter if he comes back or not.

I had an early dinner with the wife in town and then bought my yearly pair of shoes before driving home.

I avoided looking at the score until it clicked 3 hours of play. It was 17 to 10. I switched to Facebook to distract myself, but did see it went 17-17.

On Facebook there was a post about it being Rams vs Seahawks and what did everyone think. I was confused and dismissed it, but apparently someone had the results before we saw it here on the West Coast. Maybe the time delay in broadcast or something.
???????

Too small and too inconsistent. He struggled against Carolina. And while he did make some great plays tonight, he also gave up the Kmet TD, would have given up a TD to Odunze if not for the drop, and had a couple missed tackles that really hurt us. The kid has great ball skills, but he doesn't have the size, play strength, or consistency to be a reliable starter. He's a good depth player, but I wouldn't pay him starter money.

I agree and wont elaborate due to celebration thread.

Having said that, props to Curl and Durant for making big plays in such a big game.

I didn't participate in the game day thread. Must have been crazy. My son was over so stayed off the phone.

Anyway, how many commented on the Collingsworth Caleb/ Bears love affair? He was over the top. Just about openly rooting for them. I normally don't care about that stuff as I think fans get oversensitive. However, he was embarrassing. It sounded like a Bears home broadcast. Tirico seemed fine, but Collingsworth was creaming his shorts all night over Caleb.
I'll say it again. Collinsworthless gargles testicles.

So glad McVay finally stuck with KW the last couple drives, he quietly had a great game and was the most productive back today.
I think that move by McVay should not be overlooked
It's the playoffs! Time to go with your money players. The whole point of splitting carries was to preserve Kyren's legs for the playoffs push. I appreciate Blake Corum's contributions, but KW has the biggest heart in our RB stable.

Just saying we are due to lose one since we won four in a row. I don't like streaks. Always think they are due to be broken. In fact the first 3 home teams won this weekend. Odds are one road team wins. That went in our favor.
Uhh ... the current win streak is THREE in a row.

This win was very important in ending that stupid shit about weather. Heard it since the 70s and the word "can't" will never be in the argument again.
Actually, that notion has been discredited since way back:

I wonder if the narrative is going to be like the first Seattle game? "Caleb Williams threw 3 interceptions and still, the Bears almost won. They were driving for the winning score in OT."

Well, he had only thrown 2 INT when they were driving for the winning score.... But I see your point
From an outside perspective, I would imagine the narrative will be that Ben Johnson made too many aggressive calls and shouldnt have gambled as much

McVay going for it on 4th and 1 at the seven yard line was HUGE. Just sayin.

McVay has gone for it on fourth down SEVERAL times successfully this year, far more than he ever has, with great success.

I know of course you were referring to Johnson's coaching decisions. But by and large, I think the league-wide trend to go for it more often on fourth downs has led to more overall successes than failures.
The odds of making a yard vs not are probably pretty high.

my big brother texted me after the 4th down stop with 3 minutes to go

"wow congratulations "

I replied " it's not over yet.. have you not been watching the playoffs this year"

then "the play" happened and next thing you know..OT

still haven't heard back from him
