I was the only one who thought it was a good value deal signing him back in 2017.

Maybe not the only one, but most/many members weren't hot on the deal. He was #2 WR as Watkins was #1 in Buffalo. Woods was known for his blocking and had decent receiving numbers. He is now going to add a lot of value as a WR coach for the Rams.

They signed him as an unrestricted free agent in March 2017 after his rookie contract with Buffalo expired. He signed a five-year, $34 million contract that could reach up to $39 million with performance incentives. [1, 2, 3, 4]
