My QB wish for Rams are:
1. Allar
1a. Nussmeier
I really hope that Allar turned a corner, but until he is really challenged by good defenses, we won’t know. He looked good yesterday against a weak team.

I liked the Nussmeier kept competing and glad LSU won because I dislike Dabo Swinney, who is always complaining even when the Refs gifted him a call that should have been a touchdown for LSU. Back to Nussmeier, kept his team in the game although the LSU defense was stellar. He looked good at times, but finished with a completion percentage of 50%. He reminds me of Goff. He’s deadly with a clean pocket. Nussmeier got better as the game went on and finished with 73% completions.
This is your year to win it all, good luck and Allar has the goods if he can finally put it all together.I really hope that Allar turned a corner, but until he is really challenged by good defenses, we won’t know. He looked good yesterday against a weak team.
Hard to understand that. IMO, you need to attend the games in person to appreciate the game. Nothing like the game day experience of college football. The pageantry, the passion and encompasses the intense fan atmosphere at games, including vibrant traditions, large crowds, and powerful marching bands, alongside the captivating storylines of the players and teams.I hate watching college football but, if the Rams might go QB next April, I want to know what's out there.
Agree, I catch a few games a season, nothing like being in a stadium full of students and alumni rooting for their alma mater.Hard to understand that. I LOVE me some Lombardi! (the fat f*ck, not the cheesy trophy!) ~ @Allen2McVayRecorded three games yesterday ... already watched Manning and Allar .... at Halftime on Clemson / LSU (Klubnik and Nussmeier). Taping So. Carolina later today (Sellers). Did not get to record AZ St. (Leavitt).

Other than liking Allar's release, I have no early opinions. Patience, time, greater body of work to evaluate.
Will always remember Michael Lombardi (I hate that arrogant, coat-tail-riding, kiss-ass, fat fuck) when he was on the Rich Eisen Show in August 2017. Said Sean McVay 'could not' be a successful head coach because he 'could not be ready' at such a young age. Said the Rams 'sleep with Luca Brasi (i.e., with the fishes)'
Asked about Jared Goff, he dismissed him saying 'Goff has no feel for the game'. When Eisen responded ... 'You can tell that after just 7 games (Goff's rookie season)'. Lombardi replied ... 'I could tell that after 7 passes'
IDK, I like some of them getting paid instead of some fat cats that never played the game or have not touched a weight since moving day. Anyway, it is overboard now, but glad some of the kids are being taken care of and their parents too.I don't like college football at the moment because of the impacts of NIL and, more importantly, the portal.

Well, we will agree to disagree in that area too. Keith Jackson was simply the very best ever IMHO over the years and Lee Corso was an institution.Watching a college football game on TV really SUCKS.
What matters is where our first round picks are. If they're both late fuggedabout it.Yeah, that's my thought....If they wanted to target one guy and needed to move up to get him, they still could keep a first and spend a future first. In fact a team may find that more attractive if they think the Rams could be worse in 26' if Stafford retirees. Still would likley have to cough up our 2nd though along with one of the firsts. Maybe get a mid round pick back depending on how big of a move up.
He will retire in that silly uniform with no titles like a proper Bills QB.If we are dreaming I’d prefer they trade for Josh Allen
Prejudgment will be the only constant for him. Comes with the name. Are we really going to judge him on first start against OSU?
P.Manning was like 7-14 for 79 yards in his first start. I get it if you don’t like the hype but I’d rather not jump the gun.
It's better than it was where colleges like Georgia and Alabama would literally horde players until their senior or so years and where players basically couldn't leave without permission from their coaches (some of whom could be quite vindictive and petty). Is the portal perfect? Absolutely not. But there's more benefits than detriments when it all boils down to it.I don't like college football at the moment because of the impacts of NIL and, more importantly, the portal.
One of my very favorite things about college football was watching the kids grow for my team from year to year.
Now? Shit.. I don't know who's on the roster, year to year. As others have mentioned, the game day atmosphere can be incredible... but.. that's just not doing much for me at the moment.
And.. Arch sucked. Third year in and that's his performance? Woof. Yes, one game.. all the caveats.. but, wow.
Oh, it’s not the idea of them getting paid, it’s how it’s just an anything-goes situation that gets me.IDK, I like some of them getting paid instead of some fat cats that never played the game or have not touched a weight since moving day. It was also game 1 against a very talented defense with perhaps 3 maybe 4, 1st rounders on it come next draft.Nussmeier is a check down machine on a team loaded with downfield talent
