Sarrat took a backseat to OCooper in WR draft rankings but he’d be a nice WR pick at R2.61 IMO.

Sarratt's my choice if we had to take a receiver in the second. Seriously gives me Kupp vibes, scored the most touchdowns out of all of the Draft hopefuls (seventeen, in less full games than Cooper who scored fifteen), and is an outstanding route runner with sticky hands.

Maybe not the most outstanding athlete, but he timed well enough at his Pro Day.

I think we may be expecting too much out of any rookie WR.
We all know they have struggles their 1st year or two.

Our new playmaker this year is Furgs.
He’s had a year to learn and develop.
Hopefully he’s ready for a larger roll this season.

I truly think we are underestimating the growth we may see in one or more of these guys as weapons this year:

1. Ferguson. I think he will become a huge weapon for Stafford.
2. Mumfield. Something tells me he overtakes Whittington on the depth Chart and becomes a clutch #3.
3. Allen. I think after the Higbee era is over there is a chance he is our consistent #2 tight end.
4. Whittington. Last year may have just been a down year for him. This year is truly make or break.

So our answers may not be in the draft, but already on the roster.

I still really like Whittington. I really like Mumpfield. I think Ferguson excels in his second year with a healthy offseason.

I'd still take a wide receiver somewhere in the next two rounds. This class is too good, and Adams might not be here after next year (plus the whole Puka Nacua contract situation).

I suspect that there are a few GMs who woke up this morning (Cards, Jets, Steelers) pissed off that they are looking at Beck, Nussmeier and Allar to fill a large hole at QB.

Glass half full for the Rams - LFG!

To be fair, I'd say Green and Payton would be worth a gamble (especially over Beck and Allar), and Nussmeier also has potential.

But yeah, Simpson was definitely QB2 in this class, and he's got potential to be QB1 if he stays healthy.

Just don't see any of them lasting until pick #61 ... in the case of Boston, I would say almost Zero Chance.

And, the Rams don't have much capital to trade up. After pick #93, they don't pick again until the 200s.
Sadly, I must agree.

Thanks for the dose of reality. You’re a real ray o’ sunshine.

I could see a Fiske like trade. This years 2nd plus next yrs 2nd for a big jump into the low 40's. Maybe you can get back a 5th or 6th.

That way you are back to all in this year, even if hurting next yrs draft.

1 & 2: yes absolutely!
3 & 4: ehhh, I think we might have seen what they are (or close to it)
