Luckily, most of the free agents we would target are further down the free agents list. We can re-sign our own and then grab some corners on 2 year, manageable deals.
Which corner do you have in mind for a 2 year deal?

For that caliber of CB, I'd be worried that we're treading water and not actually upgrading.

I thought Forbes had another year left on his deal and isn’t a FA until next year. Guess I was wrong.
He is this would be an extension if they don't pick up the 5th year option which is about what this averages out to.

Guess I was wrong.
No, No, No ...

Not sure he comes here, does he think he's going to be #1 TE here? Are Parkinson or Ferguson going to make him think twice about the Rams?

If we go after him, it's because McVay has a featured role in mind. I imagine he'd go heavy on 12 personnel and use Likely as a move TE with Ferguson taking the inline role.

Color me intensely skeptical of that projection.

That's what his 5th year option would be roughly. Not saying I'm game with that but anything is possible in the NFL just hope we don't give it to him.

IMO, they're dreaming. Parsons had just turned 26. Crosby is about to turn 29. Huge difference.

Jaylen Watson continues to be the guy for me. Good starting CB who is also physical and highly effective against the run. Two birds with one stone.
Always ask for the moon, settle for a lot less.

Eric Stokes and Montaric Brown are my picks. Both are considered solid, but Brown is considered a safe "low ceiling" option and Stokes is considered the higher ceiling one. Both had a really strong 2025 and are way better than the guys we had last year.

No worries about scheme for Watson? I like him a lot, but recently I was reading that he's a mostly press man type.
