This is especially true in football.
The measuring of QBs by playoff/title success only was always very silly to me.
By that measure, Trent Dilfer is better than Dan Marino.

And if you read my point, I was saying that Simpson is going to be worse than Goff and maybe comparable to Purdy.

And I reiterate - I want someone better than Purdy.

Purdy without a great team is just a so so QB.

And again I think not only in your assessment of him off.

And again what everyone seems to say your last sentence isn't exclusive to Purdy no matter how many times you say it.

Yeah, but we all know the idiot Jaguars traded up for Hunter because of the gadget-y 2-way thing, that we all knew WASN'T gonna work. He might turn out to be a good Corner but this was a bad trade IMHO. Jags gon' Jag.....

OMG - I am only giving Purdy as an example of a game manager QB with a great team who went to the superbowl.

Stop reading too much into my comment.

Dilfer was another game manager QB who went to the superbowl with a great team.

Once the great team was gone - Dilfer was just a so so QB.
