That’s the guy I’d seriously consider in the 3rd if there. Assuming you believe that you can teach him to run block - because he’s currently not good. Also that you believe his body will hold up long term. But wow, what a potential monster.
I hope you mean on Day 3, not the third round.

Pretty sure Les Snead was grinning ear to ear when he heard Carnell Tate timed "slow."
Still like Tyson better than Tate. Tate played with another potential top 3 pick at WR, that's gotta help. Not saying he isn't good at all, just something to take into consideration. I do think him and Lemon are neck and neck after Tyson though.

Lot to like about Tyson without the injuries but I have a few more questions about Tyson's skillset than Carnell's. Still think he's prob my WR 2 though I'd love to hear someone make the case for Makai being 2 and I think it would be hard but not impossible.

To me the tape says it all. I'm way more impressed with Tyson's tape by far vs Tate. If injuries weren't a problem, this wouldn't even be a discussion.

I want nothing to do with Carson Beck but dayum he looked so smooth out there and was pretty impressive. Ugh.
Allar has a cannon but I still wouldn’t touch him with a 10 foot pole.
I still don’t understand why Haynes King doesn’t get more love

King doesn't have a NFL arm.

Good thread discussion on clap attacking (which causes drops for many prospects) and how it's not just slapping hands together to catch the ball but how wide the hands are when ball arrives and needing to still close them together to catch ball.

Fergy had an issue with this in college but oddly enough I don't think it led to his drops this season. Poor timing with Stafford and inconsistency during contested catches were an issue this last year it seemed.

I agree with you, but it is a discussion because it’s a major problem.

Missing 48% of eligible games is extremely concerning. Factor in a longer season and better competition and I have a ton of concerns about him making it through a season.

I don't. If we draft him, I have a huge amount of faith in our strength/conditioning/training staff to get him on a plan to avoid getting injured. His collarbone injury can happen to anyone wnd and his most recent hamstring is a soft tissue injury that can also happen to many players. These are determental injuries that are threatening hid career. It's way overblown imo which is exactly why he's still going to go in the 1st round. Just look up all the teams he's talked to, many in top 10 have.

Sure,

But you failed to mention his massive knee injury in which he not only tore his ACL, but his MCL and PCL…

That combined with the other two and we have a player that may never play a full season. And you want him in the top 15? No thanks. Without that history I’d trade UP for him, but with it, I don’t waste the pick

He hasn't had any other major knee injuries since (injury happened in 2022 for Christ sakes lol). Plenty of football players have had knee injuries early on and have had good careers. It's football, that shit happens. Medicine has advanced way more so it's not an injury that's career threatening at all. Once again overblown but hey don't take it from me when he's drafted in the first half of the 1st round. The teams wanting to talk to this young man says it all vs what anyone is saying on this board :laugh4:
