It used to be that in theory it would be a game with a divisional opponent of the closest geographical team. Now I think they try to determine the most interesting game in that region
Wow, we have the smallest map in our slot, yet might be the best game of the weekend? Granted, Philly/TB is also a good game, but, the whiners/jags has considerably more showing? Give me a f'ing break.
Thank GOD for Sunday Ticket, I can watch there Rams instead of the Eagles and Bucs.

Totally agree. They're more interested in SF/Jax in Buffalo/NY/DC than a Colts/Rams game? Colts have a strong following in North East

Have to say, I am so happy I forked up the $$ for it. I had the Rams/Eagles game on my local network but still streamed it thru youtube because the network feed was on a 10-15 sec delay
It's probably this. Whatever the program director wants. Back in the day when "Vote from your touchtone phone!" was all the rage, the local station would put up a choice between two games for you to call in for. I assume it got abused one way or the other because I don't recall that lasting very long. Maybe people spammed for their favorite small market team and their ratings were garbage.
