I mean, who in their right mind, passes on a stud Center named "Badass"???And that dead horse is going to come back again and again until we get a very good center lol
I am still upset that we took that TE instead of Biadesz

And maybe not as a Center.
But the dude is a gamer.
Every chance he's been given he has exceeded expectations and upgraded his game to meet the challenge.
He transferred from the Sun Belt conference and upgraded to ACC where he was the highest rated lineman in the NCAA Division 1.
Then he dominated in the Senior Bowl and we didn't even have to spend a draft pick on him.
I was excited to see what he was going to do here and I will not be surprised that we'll hear from him again.
Give it more than a game. We all know that he’s limited. So is Limmer. Apparently the Rams prefer a Savy limited veteran over a raw limited second year player. If it gets bad enough the coaches will make a change. But, it’s possible that the line play improves in the coming weeks with Shelton leading them.Shelton is the weak link
I expect him to eventually pick up the line calls, but I feel he has limited potential. Great value for a 6th round pick but I don't believe he will ever be an above-average starter. I'm not even sure he will get significantly better at pass pro.You folks are way to hard on Limmer. He's a 6th round pick. Used to be 1st to 3rd rounders sat on the bench 3 or 4 years before they broke in. Center is the toughest OL position to learn. In time Limmer will learn, not in just one season. They're doing it right by him being first off the bench playing guard. He's right next to Shelton, the savant of line calling and the best teacher of playing center in the N FL.
Used those draft picks for a new QB.
Isn't he on Philly's practice squad?
?Wait until he comes off IR. I guess they don't need to designate atm
Yes, but he is taking up one of their 8 designated to return spots. Still stunned we didn't use one on him. Really hope it doesn't come back to haunt us.He's on IR so he doesn't count against the roster. So they haven't designated whether or not he's going to be on the 53 or PS.
Well ... not exactly. If/When Lampkin comes off the IL, he is on the 53 or he has to be waived. He's on IR so he doesn't count against the roster. So they haven't designated whether or not he's going to be on the 53 or PS.

A player has to pass through waivers before he can be placed on the Practice Squad.
The Rams waived Lampkin to get down to their 53. They could have placed him on the IL (like they did with Keir Thomas) but that would have put Lampkin out for the entire season (like Thomas).
Usually, when a player is waived with an injury (like Lampkin), the player is not claimed and reverts back to the team that waived him. Speculation is that what the Rams were hoping / planned; and then would have put Lampkin on the IL, with a designation to return.
However, the Eagles picked-up Lampkin; and he was on their 53-man roster. Couple days later, Philadelphia put Lampkin on the IL, with a designation to return.
NoIf memory serves me correctly, WL already cleared waivers.
All but Philly. And Philly no doubt knew the rest of the teams would be honorable. Sleazebags. If memory serves me correctly, WL already cleared waivers.
That would be funny if we played the reverse uno cardOnce he comes back from IR maybe Rams can steal him back from PHI and put him on the 53.
I truly believe he’s a future quality center in the NFL. I want to believe the Rams would’ve kept him on the 53 if he wasn’t injured but they thought they could put him on IL once he was cut. That would be funny if we played the reverse uno card
That could only happen if Philadelphia tries to put Lampkin on their Practice Squad.Once he comes back from IR maybe Rams can steal him back from PHI and put him on the 53.
That’s the scenario I was referring to. Be curious if PHI let Lampkin take a spot on the 53. They know OL better than any other NFL team. That could only happen if Philadelphia tries to put Lampkin on their Practice Squad.
He is on the Eagles' IL, with a return designation. If he comes-off the IL, Philly can just put him on their 53. If the Eagles want to instead place him on their Practice Squad, they must first waive Lampkin; and any team can put in a waiver claim.
Agree, but unfortunately the Eagles acted like the low class pieces of shit that they are.I truly believe he’s a future quality center in the NFL. I want to believe the Rams would’ve kept him on the 53 if he wasn’t injured but they thought they could put him on IL once he was cut.
