Was a draft pick last year not this year. But yeah, he had a grewsome leg injury in college that apparently still hasn't healed right. Bummer for the kid.

Perhaps the Jets just did a good deed and tried to get him medical help. After seeing that injury, there is no way in hell that I would have drafted that guy in the 5th round.
That was a fucking horrible injury.
Yeah - cuz it’s not like they’re known for making bad decisions.Perhaps the Jets just did a good deed and tried to get him medical help.

If that was the case, I would have waited until the 7th round at the earliestPerhaps the Jets just did a good deed and tried to get him medical help.
Rams did it a few years ago. Drafted a WR they liked when a heart issue was for during the draft process and the drafted him always. For so.e reason I want to say Bud Sasser. He was an assistant WR coach for a few years too
So there's limits on good deeds got it. Also they likely hoped he could recover and play but we're willing to take the risk.If that was the case, I would have waited until the 7th round at the earliest
I don't believe for a second that they drafted him only as a good deed. NFL is a business. So there's limits on good deeds got it. Also they likely hoped he could recover and play but we're willing to take the risk.
It was Bud Sasser in 2015 (Fisher year). I remember because he was a Mizzou receiver. Was more of a possession type, and I don't think he was ever a legit NFL prospect. They only caught the heart issue after they did a physical on him after drafting him, though.Perhaps the Jets just did a good deed and tried to get him medical help.

OS probably tears up during the cleft palate commercials. Fuckin softy.Yeah - cuz it’s not like they’re known for making bad decisions.
