There's still time for Atlanta to disintegrate. After their bye they have the Bills, hopefully they lose that one which would put them at 2-3. From there I would hope the NFC West games, the Bucs, the Colts, and then maybe one or two of the lesser matchups they have ahead can produce 6-8 more losses.

Looks like 11-6. I think they are better than this first quarter of the season.

If things trend that direction then it is probably more likely they look to use that pick at the deadline to juice the roster. But if things are looking like it could end up being considerably higher than our pick that may affect their approach.

Bills, Whiners, Patriots, Colts, Seahawks, Bucs, and Rams should beat them in my opinion.

Unfortunately the Saints, Jets, and Dolphins are likely wins. Panthers and Cardinals probably a toss up. Might still get a top 10 pick out of them. Depends on if some NFL parity helps them out along the way.

Looks like we are getting our first glimpse of Kirk Cousins this week....

ESPN Sources: Falcons QB Kirk Cousins is “highly likely” to start Sunday’s game vs. the Dolphins as Michael Penix recovers from a bone bruise to his knee.

Penix was limited at practice all week and Cousins worked with the first-team offense, gearing up to start Sunday. https://www.espn.com/contributor/adam-schefter/a739b2271417e?modifier=webview http://espn.com/app
If this was in Miami the fish might have had a chance. The falcons seem like Jekel and Hide home and away.

Based on the last two games for Atlanta, this is my best guess. Obviously could easily sweep the Saints, but they could also lose at home to the Panthers or lose at the Jets.

Final record: 7-10

Guessing either way that pick is going to end up being in the 12-18 range, barring some injuries that make them a truly awful team the rest of the way.

Final record: 7-10
That feels like the ceiling to me.

Rams picking at #12 and #23 this week
Just by way of reference.
The Rams were definitely interested in Brock Bowers in last year's draft (tried to move-up); and were reportedly interested in Tyler Warren in this past draft.

The 12th overall pick would have been high enough for Bowers in 2024, and/or Warren in 2025.

Don't expect the Rams to go Tight End in 2026. Just wanted to point-out the level of talent available.

Jahmyr Gibbs went at #12 in 2023 ... Jameson Williams in 2022 ... Micah Parsons in 2021.
And ... AGAIN ... just for balance and perspective ... the 12th overall pick was Henry Ruggs.

Yeah, that's high. REALLY HIGH compared to the Rams picks during the McVay era. 34 picks higher than T. Ferguson this year. 7 picks higher that Verse last year. 24 picks higher than Avila the year previous to that. And 92 picks higher than Bruss in 2022!!! We could get somebody REALLY talented with that #12.....but my money is on, it'll be a little higher than that when Atlanta finishes playing like dogs.
