I don't know about you guys but I just realized that we might not have Steve Savart and Farr calling our games anymore which is total shit! I loved listening to them as a combo and feel like they were very enjoyable to listen to. Anybody think we should kidnap at least Savart for 16 weeks plus the post season to announce our games? Lol

Seriously though someone please tell me we going to have him back!

No, Savard is gone..Andrew Siciliano looks to fill the play-by-play role, and with Eric Dickerson ruled out,Jim Everett, Jerome Bettis, and Maurice Jones-Drew seem to have the inside track for Farr's spot, per:

I am REALLY going to miss Steve Savard. He was basically the voice of my Ram filled childhood. Best play by play guy around.

Such a shame, people need to realize how many people lost their jobs to this move.

Lots of people lost their jobs in the move. And lots of people in new area's that needed a job will be able to get one. It sucks but in the end will likely balance out.

I like Andrew and he's a Rams fan. So I'm okay with that. Will miss him on Redzone though.

I can't be the only person in the weird spot where I've been a fan of the Rams in STL longer than when they were previously in LA. I felt more connected to them in STL thanks to the Internet. My only exposure to the LA Rams before was nationally televised games and highlight shows. I'm definitely going to miss all the STL coverage and its smaller market hometown feel.

Rams Broadcast Team to Include NFL Network’s Siciliano?
By RamBuck

The Rams may have found a familiar face for their broadcasts

After the Rams returned to LA, it was extremely unlikely that they would retain their St. Louis-based broadcast team of Steve Savard (play by play) and former LA/St. Louis Ram D’Marco Farr (analysis). This mean that the Rams would be shopping for a new gameday broadcast crew.

Per a Barrett Sports Media report, the Rams’ LA-based broadcast team will at least include NFL Network’s Andrew Siciliano:

According to sources, Andrew Siciliano will soon be named the play by play radio voice of the Los Angeles Rams. Siciliano has done an excellent job on the Red Zone Channel and NFL Network and has prior radio experience in Los Angeles working for FOX Sports Radio and ESPNLA 710. He also worked as a sports radio reporter earlier in his career in Chicago. His ascension to the play by play position with the Rams has been expected for quite some time. The team utilized him to call pre-season games on television in St. Louis during the past few seasons.

One person who isn’t expected to be part of the Rams radio broadcast team is Eric Dickerson. The Los Angeles Rams legend was the odds on favorite to be named the team’s radio analyst and talks with the team did take place, but the Hall of Fame running back is planning to explore a different role instead. Multiple sources say Dickerson will join AM 570 LA Sports as a contributor for the 2016 NFL season. Details about his role remain unclear. With Dickerson out of the picture, the names Jim Everett, Jerome Bettis, and Maurice Jones-Drew have been mentioned as possible options in the analyst role.

The Rams have not yet made an official announcement. There had been rumors about Dickerson joining the broadcast team, but it appears those were unsubstantiated.

Siciliano is already very familiar with the Rams, having called their preseason games for five years in a row with Hall of Famer Marshall Faulk and (future Hall of Famer) Torry Holt on analysis.

But, it appears Siciliano would need to renege his responsibilities at NFL Network to take over LA’s PBP. He is the host for NFL Total Access as well as DirecTV’s Red Zone channel, and to continue would be a conflict of interest for the NFL.

Who would you like to be Siciliano’s color guy? Stay tuned for additional developments on the Rams’ gameday broadcasting.

Don't want Bettis either, for a lot of reasons, main one being he's not very good.
MJD is always a good listen.

Even if the Rams wanted him Savard would never do it Farr would likely follow his lead.
I think with Farr we'd have a chance with him being in LA before but Savard I'm thinking would not happen. He's probably bitter.

Seriously Jerome Bettis or MJD? Bettis has more cause than MJD to be our guy and Bettis is a butt kissing Steeler guy. freak that! Everett all day please...
Couldn't agree more, Bettis is a steeler lover. i hate the steelers. We need a true ram.

I understand the draw having a former player as the color guy, but i think it's important that he have knowledge of the current game and more importantly that he has some solid communication skills in broadcasting. Doesn't have to be great in this area but i can't stand listening to former players who obviously don't belong on radio or in a booth full time.
T.Holt for example, no chops. Hard to listen to stumble through a broadcast. We've got a former player out here in PHX(Tim Kempton) doing Suns color who is awful.
Farr was good.
I hope they find a Rams connection who knows what he's doing on radio/tv etc.
