Im going to Las Vegas for the second time, last time was about 7 years ago, this coming weekend. We will just be there Friday through Monday. Im just curious to find anything new to do since the last time I was there or some favorite things to do. I know there are some of you guys that live in Vegas or near by so I figured Id ask here. We aren't planning on seeing any shows but don't really have a plan of attack as of now. Im planning on putting in a few bets on the superbowl.

We hit all the major casinos, did the amusement rides, and went to freidmont street. We plan on food, drinking, and gambling but I'd like to know if there is anything else worth doing.

City Center was built since you were here - might check it out - and the Cosmopolitan's pretty cool. (Little high end for me - more of a Roadhouse guy :cautious: ).
Other than that, not much new, (not that I would know - haven't been on the Strip for over ten years).
Hoover Dam's worth seeing, (if you haven't yet), and they've built the new bridge since you were here last.

One of my sisters got remarried out there about 5 years ago , so we went out there for a couple days , saw Penn & Teller who are awesome

We stayed at the Excalibur, kind of disappointing , don't waste you time , had a great time at the MGM Grand though

I got married in Vegas when me and my wife had to chaperone her brother and his then fiancé (now his wife) to see Sting in concert -- this was back in 94 and I was running a fever of 103 and I got the call from my girl "you wanna go to Vegas and chaperone my brother and his date and we can get married"
I was like, yes
Anyway, long story longer we pay $50 for the license and $50 for the wedding in some converted savings and loan to some Filipino pastor - it had to be the worst wedding in history, we didn't bother to consummate the thing I was so sick
- I told her, we can't go anywhere but up and we've been going strong ever since!!!
We were married for a whole year before we told any if her relatives, the last thing we needed was someone telling us how wrong we were

Anyway love Vegas for being there for me and my wife

My wife surprised me with a trip to Vegas for my 40th birthday (a few years ago). Had my bags packed and took me to the airport without telling me anything prior.

We stayed at Caesars Palace... Our favorite part of the trip to Vegas was the adult pool at Caesars. Top-less off course with private cabanas and drinks brought out whenever you wanted them. I strongly recommend that.

Have a great time Brudda!!!

I got married at a little walk in wedding chapel in Reno.
Just me and wife....figured it was the right thing to do....babies having babies.
Anyway, the "ceremony" was pure comedy.
Been together 23 years now, so, I guess it worked out....

One thing we did do before we came home , but might not interest most people , but the wife and I drove down to Whiskey Pete's in Primm Nevada so I could take a look see at Bonnie and Clyde's car , the car they were ambushed in

I've always been fascinated with Bonnie and Clyde

Was there a few years ago and will be going back this summer.

If you didn't see a show, you probably should. We went to a hypnosis show. I volunteered and ended up being chosen to be apart of the show. It was an incredible experience. And of course, got a DVD of that...

The most fun I had though was sitting down with our group at the same table and playing $5 blackjack - free drinks all day, had an awesome dealer, and playing $5 a hand you can't lose too much money. Old Vegas was awesome too but sounds like you did that.
