Head Coach Jeff Fisher – Post-Practice – December 27, 2012

(On the challenges Seahawks CB Richard Sherman presents assuming he starts Sunday)
“No different than (the) first time around we played. Both corners were outstanding corners. He makes a lot of plays, finds a way to get the ball in the end zone, good tackler and very competitive.”

(On Seattle implementing option reads a lot over the last five weeks)
“Yes. They’ve had a lot more success with it the last, actually, three to four weeks and then in particular last two weeks.”

(On if Seattle has the biggest home field advantage in the NFL and if Seattle’s 12th man is really as impactful as people say)
“It is. You hear people going through there certainly complimenting the fan base there because it is very difficult, really from kickoff to the end of the game. Right through halftime they just stand up and make noise.”

(On if Seattle has made a transition from being an elite team at home to just an elite team)
“They’re a good football team right now. They’ve lost a couple close games early, but they’re on a roll right now. There’s no reason to think that they can’t win on the road and in the playoffs. They’re playing very well. The quarterback’s got a hot hand right now. They’re healthy and they’ve got an outstanding defense.”

(On if he will be involved in encouraging RB Steven Jackson to come back next season or if he leaves that to the front office)
“No. We do those kinds of things together. All the personnel decisions are made collectively.”

(On if he will personally lobby to Jackson to return next year)
“I don’t think that’s going to be required. I think everybody in the building would like to have him back. It’s just matter of us sitting down and working things out.”
