Anger is a natural emotion. It's OK to feel it, but it's how we deal with it that matters.
I am not actually angry. Its hard to explain. It stems from a time when my whole life kind of shifted and i changed as a person. When i get in that zone, im not angry or upset, which is the oddest part, i basically just abandon all thought of the outside world and it just seems natural. There really is not hate or anger behind it. Its not bipolar either. My brother is bipolar and i know much about it. Basically i am calm and in a good mood, and bad intentions towards myself seem normal, even if I am happy and life is good. If shit hits the fan I am still good. There really is no catalyst to it. It just happens no matter what mood I am in. Its rare now but still happens every so ofteb.

It is not often, thank god. And hasnt happened in a while. Honestly on a very happy awesome day it could happen.

I battle inner demons even to this day, and have been hospitalized and baker acted in the past from certain actions. I am a lot better than 5-10 years ago but the crappy part of me surfaces sometimes still from time to time.

Might be to much information and to deep for a forum but I think this place can handle it. No need to comment. There are many things i can get off my chest, this is just one of them. Sometimes it feels good to just get crap off my chest.

I am sure I will say more stuff as time goes on. Currently dont have many people I can talk to about this stuff right now to just say it to.

You can talk to me anytime about anything via pm or phone. Everyone battles inner demons including yours truly. The worst thing to do is to isolate and keep things to yourself.

I had a bad day yesterday, and kinda yelled at my wife for the first time in over 13 years. I drove 7 hours to get to Georgia so we can get some rest before finishing the drive to North Carolina. When we got there, they put us in a room right outside of the area where the free breakfast was served, and she didn't want to be there because of the noise she thought there would be early in the morning. So I gather our suitcases and wait for her to change the room (which I wasn't in favor of doing in the first place), and they give us a room up on the second floor. When we get up there (I'm still dragging suitcases around), we find that our room is right in front of the elevator. She didn't like that either, because she said our dogs would hear people walking in and out of there and would start barking. By now I'm kinda pissed off and tired from the drive, so I said, "You go get another room then, because I'm staying here. Or the freakin' car. I'm done moving around this crappy hotel already."

The look on her face made me feel really bad.

We made up real quick and had the best kind of make-up activities, but I still felt bad about lighting her up like that.

I won't make that mistake again. She's a good woman and doesn't need my impatience.

deja vu for myself about a month ago. my problem is the less significant the situation causing the aggravation, the worse i seem to react to it (traffic, idiots, etc.) the more serious something is i stay calm and relaxed about it. sad thing is there seems to be more trivial in my world. on the plus side (for -X-), is that you realize that wasnt the best reaction to the situation. too many people believe its "their right" to be angry about something. you admit you're human. lesser men cant do that. the best part of it is that the woman (you're with) and mine realize after the intial shock is that testosterone is to blame. :D

you absolutely nailed that one. thats my main mistake in life is keeping things to myself (which leads to poor reactions to trivial life issues). it justs compounds things and doesnt solve anything as well.

Most men are raised to suck it up and not complain about physical or emotional pain. In my experience that's a really bad idea.

I'm visiting my parents and sister in Virginia. These trips always end up nostalgic and I get on board the emotional roller coaster that is part of visiting where you grew up. The hardest part is seeing where my mom's existence has been reduced to by Alzheimer's. My sister is truly a saint for all she does managing to keep her at home. My mom has become extremely ornery as of late and is using a vocabulary that I didn't even know she possessed. Although much of it is ugly to watch, she can be comical and
lash out some zingers at you that leave you no choice but to laugh. Yesterday morning, I was helping get her out of bed and she was giving us hell for everything when one of the family dogs trots past the doorway. She stops her ranting and says, "oh, there's a dog". I mistakenly say, "good mom, where's the cat?" (They don't have a cat). She turns to me and says, "it's up my GD ass!" There's no response for that. o_O

Not sure if my wife would know what to do if I wasn't an A-hole from time to time.

I'm right there with ya brother. I treat my wife better than any person on earth.

But.....

If you can't be yourself with your wife then... what?

Oh yea, also my dog is a fat(10lbs overweight) asshole who loves to bark at me but not my wife and has horrible doggy breath. Anyone know how to get rid of that?

Bought her a kiddie pool for baths, gonna try it out today and see if she breaks it or not.

my old dog has some blockage in his GI tract and hasnt pooped for 3 days now. Vet put him on a special diet and some probiotics but no luck yet..but man does he have some wretched gas... I'm talkin eye watering:cry: room clearing stuff. Usually take him to work with me and he hangs out in the back seat of my truck and sleeps, but have been leaving him home with the wife the last few days

TRUE STORY

Fucking my girlfriend in her SUV about 8 yrs ago. Hot summer night in AZ. Fully naked quickie session in a library parking lot at midnight. Doggie. Gettin it on good and we're in a full sweat. After about 10 minutes i start to feel my nutsack tingle and burn a little...but i ignore the sensation because well...i'm busy and maybe its a rash cuz i'm REALLY giving it to her.
Shit REALLY starts to burn though and now it's painful. I finally finish. I'm dripping with sweat and i reach down to my sack and the fucking nicotine patch i was wearing on my chest had slipped all the way down and stuck to my ballsack.

Laughter is the best medicine with this disease because caregivers would surely go mad otherwise. I've got a long list of "Rachelisms" (my mom's name is Rachel). I think I could make a hilarious montage but people who haven't had to deal with the situation just wouldn't find the humor in it and would paint it disrespectful and cruel. But I can share them with you guys.

The last time I visited, my mom and I were sitting at the breakfast table when an old friend of my dad came to visit. I told my mom that the friend, Raymond, was in the other room. She frowns and says, "Awwh, he makes my shit stink!" Of course, I laugh and ask my mom why and she then says, "He just makes my ass want to chew tobacco!" And I could tell she meant her actual ass. Any filter my mom used to have is obviously worn out.
