The kid mesured in a lot bigger than most thought hes 6'6 313lbs with a massive wingspan. I wouldn't mind giving up a pick for him if the coaches think he can play.

I'd spend maybe a 4th or 5th on him depending on how the coaches feel. IIRC he has somewhat of a marijuana issue which could be aproblem in the pros.

I'd say probably not. They mentioned his off field problems, but didn't he also lose control on the field and hit an opposing player.

I suppose a lot would depend on interviews with Battle, as well as assessing how well he fit into what the Rams are trying to do. Even then, in any interview, I'd question whether he was just feeding me what he thinks I want to hear. A lot are questioning whether he was being honest as to the reasons he made himself available for the supplemental draft.

Josh Gordon was talented, but like him, there are plenty of red flags surrounding Battle. Maybe if he fell to the 6th, but I wouldn't personally feel comfortable rolling the dice on him in an earlier round.

My understanding is the Rams could use a #1, #2, #5 or #6 on him. They traded their 7th already, and #3 or 4 are conditionally traded to the Eagles, so can't be used or traded elsewhere until that is resolved. There's no way I'd want them to use a #1 or 2 on him. Besides the red flags, he's missed all the OTAs and most of the offseason conditioning program, so is going to be behind the 4 OL the Rams already drafted. IF the Rams are unhappy after seeing one of the kids they already drafted up close, maybe a 5th or 6th - otherwise drafting him would also cost the Rams to waste one of their picks from the earlier draft.

I'm doubtful the Rams pull the trigger on him though, unless he looked so good in the workout that I'm sure he would be taken before the Rams would.

When was the last time a supplemental pick has worked? Talent wise Gordon has, but the issues that plagued him in college still plague him now. I would pass.

I say No, Because, with all the new Talent, let's see what we have! the kid may be worth it. But then again next season we have a lot of FA's and who knows who will get injured this year!! So let's save the pick!

Nice post man! Yeah the highest I'd spend on him is a 5th rounder... Let the Raiders or Bengals take him higher.
