They are red in the LA Coliseum too, so I'm looking forward to blue seats and the only Stadium the Rams ever played in owned by their Owner.
It's at least understandable with the Trojans playing there.

I've tried to find an instance where the seats weren't a color at least used as part of the uniform and couldnt find anything. But I also stopped after like four stadiums.

Rams for pretty much their entire history. Sofi Stadium is the first time they will even be close as far as I know.

The Rams left LA because this stadium was built for an NFL expansion team (that would have had red unis), but league awarded the expansion to Jax instead.

Kind of proves my point on cost of replacement since they never changed it, even after GSoT.

EDJ I believe was red for the Cardinals. The St. Louis Stallions were purple and gold.

And I’m just gonna threepeat here, because fuck it.

I think originally they wanted to go blue and white, a modern update on our old colors. However, the blue and yellow are so iconic for LA, I think that Demoff called an audible, which would be very smart to do.

Assuming he’s smart and knows what the fans want (thus far he hasn’t shown me otherwise) I’m thinking that we go with an updated blue and yellow look for our primaries, and our throwbacks go to the blue and white. Color rush probably stays yellow, but can also go all blue.

That’s where my money is. Also get Demoff back for another round of Q&A.

I've actually talked with Kevin about that. He told me that once Fisher was let go... he wanted the new Voice of the team to really come from the HC. He doesn't want to be THAT anymore.

He didn't flat out say he wouldn't do another Q&A... because he says that he still checks in here at ROD... but he wanted to fade more into the background the last time I asked him about it.

Hey... it won't hurt anything if I ask him again... maybe the time will be right this time. I'll hit him up about it soon. (y)

I mean if he feels that way I guess we can settle for McVay. ;)

It has been really stunning to see all of the Royal and Yellow at games...it is absolutely beautiful and clearly the people's choice in California.

Living in Little Rock, it was 5.5 hour drive to St. Louis, and pretty easy. We had a 3 game mini-plan back in 2004, I believe, so we went to at least one game every year.

But, I had never been to a game at the Coliseum until 2017. It was magnificent!

Saw the year end 9ers game in '17, when nobody played.

Saw them spank the 9ers in week 17 last year.

Went to the Bears game on SNF week 11 this year.

I'm 2-1 in the Coliseum!

Trust me, I want Royal and Yellow, too...hope that is the choice.

I hope it’s a kickass combo of blue and yellow.

They need to leave the blue and yellow alone and make the horns wider as in the past.

The Rams unis are fine. There is nothing they can do to improve our blue and yellows.

MLB Cardinals. I remember the seats pissing me off and looking for why they were red of all colors, and I believe that they went with red for the MLB Cardinals.
Did the red birds ever play in the dome?

No they did not. This stadium was built for an expansion team, then filled by the Rams. Consistent with my original thought, I'm guessing if they knew the Rams were coming, they'd have put blue seats in.

I'm willing to bet some hard-earned ROD cash that their unis are dark navy and ???? Seats don't lie.

I'm torn between blue and white and blue and yellow.

If I had to pick. Blue and White! Just looks clean and nostalgic.

Hell if they want to really change things they should go Hollywood.....you know.....electric blue with metallic gold horns. Who cares what the Chargers wear. LA is Rams country that has been proven and who knows how long the Chargers will be in LA.

I'm really sure that the Spanos family will be BK in a couple of years at most. Remember the entire extended family lives off the NFL income. They were netting $65M per year in SD and it wasn't enough for their extravagant lifestyle for the entire family. That's why the imagined lure of mega bucks in LA brought the Spanos family out of their holes. Their team expenses are huge since the move and with their tiny attendance you know their income isn't anywhere near where it was in SD.

They haven't paid their $365M relocation fee, and they haven't paid their share of the stadium development costs in LA. How long do you think the NFL and Kroenke are going to wait? If they can't draw better than the 20K in attendance (only 10K actual Charger fans) in Inglewood I think the gig is up for Dean Spanos and his bunch. I think they will have a new owner by the end of the 2022 season.

Meh... Seat colors vary from uniforms across the league. Granted, it's not red vs blue but Navy vs Royal? Not seeing a big deal there. It could also be anywhere in between. Back in the old days, you really didn't have anything like the array of color options they do now. I'm guessing there will be some kind of deep Royal or something with a brilliance to it that combined old and new.
