True although wasn't Cersei takin it from her nephew? Podric or whatever his name was/is? So much crazy going on in his books.

Lancel Lannister was doing Cersei. He is the son of Kevan, who was the brother of Tywin

The Olenna Tyrell scene (where she just downed the poisoned wine and then told Jamie that she killed his son) was brilliant. She is (was) such a badass. I'm also growing to like Euron Greyjoy more and more. That conversation with Jamie in the throne room made me chuckle.

I thought Cersei's choice of how to punish the Sand lady - can't remember her name - (by making her not only watch her daughter die but also decompose) was inspired.

I thought the Bran reunion with his sister was very weird. I haven't seen you for ages sis, but I did watch you being raped on your wedding night! When Sansa is reunited with Arya and finds out she's now a cold blooded assassin who can take people's faces, she's gonna wonder what the hell's going on. At least Arya still seems capable of happiness (unlike Bran, the miserable little turd).

All in all a really good episode. It even had a montage for the attacks on Casterley Rock and Highgarden.

Even Rocky had a montage.
Always fade out in a montage.

I loved it. Arya was her bad assed self, and I like how she responded to the question of who trained her
"No one" :she told the truth.

They left the status of the dragon and Jaimie Lannister in question as to whether they survived. It didn't look good for Jaimie, as he sank with that armor into the depths and not moving at all as he disappeared.

the dragon attack on the loot train was bad assed. hard to believe its been 5 or 6 years since some of the actors have had scenes together.

The meeting up of the surviving children of Ned Stark was interesting. All of them showed the growth of their own lives, and that shocked each of them.
Sansa: She is the lady that Arya commented about, but she also has the qualities of a leader. Again this episode, the writers thought it important to show bits of conversation about grain/food to emphasize her ability as a monarch.

Bran: He is the Three Eye Raven, but the brother they all remembered isn't the primary part of him. He tells each of them something that he should not know. Little Finger, Sansa, and Arya all were shocked somewhat.

Arya:.Her entrance into the castle, eluding the guards. Her "training" with Brienne of Tarth, where she reveals what an absolute weapon she is by besting the best swordsman in Westeros. It seems the fact that Arya is an assassin with a "list" became real to Sansa when she watched her little sister kick some @ss, and she didn't appear to like it.

Last week I predicted that Little Finger would be killed soon, because of the meeting of the three Stark children, two of which know that Little Finger was instrumental in their fathers death while serving the Iron Throne. Sansa asked who was on Arya's "List" and Arya said most were already dead....Arya was shocked when she found that Little Finger was at Winterfell and gave that look of death towards him as they locked eyes while he was on the balcony/ledge. I wonder if Little Finger's support is so important to the ruler Sansa that she will order Arya to not kill him? hmmm.

Long term bet? I think Sansa will become the ruler of the Seven Kingdoms. She will win the Game of Thrones.

All I can say is wow. Was a lukewarm fan of the show at best, but these last few episodes, especially last night, just mind blowing!!!!

I don't think it was Jamie Lannister sinking to the depths at the end...I think it was Dickon (giggle)Tarley or whomever knocked him off his horse.

I don't think so...After Bronn shot the dragon with that huge crossbow, and the following torching of the machine by the same dragon, Jaimie rode toward Dani to lance her..During that scene, they show a horseless Bronn eyeing a white horse...Then, whoever saving Jaimie from being a crispy critter was riding a white horse.. I don't think Bronn was wearing much armor at all, while Jaimie was wearing his normal upper armor....The last figure, which I would put at 80% that it's Jaimie, sinks to the bottom with upper armor....

What is sort of crazie is that as Jaimie gallops towards Dani with that Lance, he is riding about a foot from dry land in the water with no problem. Whoever (I think Bronn) knocks him into the water and Jaimie are in like 20+ feet of water maybe 5 feet from the shore???

Littlefinger likes to believe that he knows everything — that no one knows the game board quite like him. Well, last night he got schooled.

The Golden Company are one of the greatest mercenary forces in the universe of Game of Thrones. While they are based in Essos, their origins are tied to the politics of Westeros. They were founded by an infamous Targaryen bastardnicknamed “Bittersteel” after the events of the Blackfyre Rebellion and so they have a place in Targaryen history (and often provide a home for exiles).

The Battle of the Bastards. Blackwater. Hardhome. Game of Thrones has a long history of delivering epic battles with equally badass names. So, it should come as no surprise that last night’s scorcher of a showdown is called the “loot train battle.”

Huh?

New York Mets star Noah Syndergaard had a blink and you’ll miss it cameo last night during the — sigh — loot train battle. Syndergaard put his throwing arm to work hurling a spear at a Dothraki warrior.

So…what happened to Jaime Lannister? Is he alive? Is he dead? The final moments of “The Spoils of War” left the Kingslayer’s fate open to interpretation, but we’re guessing that he may be back to fight Daenerys another day.

With Prime Time's explanation of who/what the Golden Company is, which is a group of mercs, I imagine Cersei will hire out an army if her gold wasn't taken in the last episode. Remember, Dani has the 2nd Sons across the waters, ready to leave that former slave city to it's own fate...

One other thing I have been thinking of....I am trying to remember how the :man with no name" is employed? We first met him in Kings Landing (or on the way there) where he had a contract to kill someone. I do think we have not seen the last of him, and I think Cersei would hire him to kill Dani, John Snow, or Tyrion....if she could.

Just too many thoughts about the show...I wonder if the White Walkers can cross the waters? Are the dragons Dani's escape hatch if all of Westeros becomes a place of White Walkers, by flying to the other continent?

PS: I re-watched the episode and didn't catch the first time that after Arya asked this question of Brienne, "Didn't you swear an oath to serve both daughters?" Sansa and Little Finger looked at each other in response. What did this mean? Is Sansa not trusting her sister so much, especially since her personal body guard Brienne is loyal to both equally? Sansa doesn't trust John Snow nor Arya, it seems...Little Finger will try to exploit this methinks.
